I really enjoyed this twist on a time travel romance between a modern day girl and a prehistoric man. The lack of language between them as well the lifespan displayed in the novel made for a very interesting read.

You are fast! I will finish my book later today. I sent you a reply re series to buddy read but it looks like my goodreads was messing up last night so I’m not sure you got it. Read because it met the requirements of two other challenges, but I really enjoyed the book so. . . Will also read another. This series unlike most shifter series has multiple types of animals which I have never read before. It will be interesting to see how the species interact.

Their RITA, Audie nominations and inclusions in multiple magazine recommendation lists (Oprah mag) are totally justified, and are only loosely connected through the principals of a Regency, ton fixer business, so can be read in any order. The series has 3 books and 1 novella. The 3 books are plentifully available as ebooks and audiobooks on Libby. The novella has no audiobook form, at this time.

Review: I have loved all of the other books in this series so it's very disappointing that I didn't enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the others. I think the reason why I wasn't enjoying this one as much is because I just didn't feel like there was much of a connection between the couple in this book compared to the other couples in past books where I could tell that they definitely have a connection. Even though I didn't enjoy this one as much, I am still looking forward to the next book in the series that is coming out next year!

A reread for me from 9 years ago but while I was in Savannah. The accuracy of the historical details was spot on. A solid ghost story with the ghosts as the good guys.
