I was also too broke to buy it this week but I talked myself into it lol. I think I might have a problem...but I think the audio is good. I haven't listened to anything from this narrator before but I think he's a good narrator. I think my favorite audio from this series is Flowers in Her Bones. I thought the narrator did such a good job with it. I think the narration is one of the main reasons why I enjoyed the book so much. I think she also narrated Still Falling.

(view spoiler)[ Yeah, how I think this is going is he is seeing her ghost and she is trying to show him the events that happened before she died and he is trying to solve her disappearance based off of the events he saw through the telescope or something like that lol. That's just my guess. I was also thinking that about the Sherriff being guilty because why else would he not want to help the family? What he is supposed to do as his job is try to help the family as much as possible but he refused. That seems so suspicious to me. I also hate how everyone in town has this like grudge against Ivy but doesn't even have really good reasons for having a grudge against her. They didn't even get to know her or her family. They are just hating on her to just hate on her and they are still saying hateful things about her even though she is probably dead. That's just not right to me and it bothers me so much. I’m sure I’ll read another book from this series soonish so eventually I’ll grab an audiobook, helps to know it’s really good!

Yeah I feel like that’s one of the downsides to living in such a small town. It’s ridiculous how Ivy even got labeled by adults who are all bullies just as much as her peers. Smh

Finished (view spoiler)[I’m beyond thrilled the case is solved and Ivy and her mom can be free. I do wish he was recording Regina or something as she confessed. Maybe to be one step ahead of her but also to have spoken video proof and more that her money and fancy lawyers couldn’t fight against. This was a pretty good read, I liked the buildup and I liked that the ghosts were real. Not my favorite of the series though. (hide spoiler)]

I can't believe that Mia's mom was the one that killed her...because the guy she was seeing didn't want children?? And then the guy left her anyways so she basically killed her own daughter for nothing! What?! And Dan had an affair with her...this is all so crazy I can't wrap my mind around it lol. Finished (view spoiler)[ I thought it was cool how the author made what really happened in the case the paranormal aspect of the story where he saw her through the telescope. It is sad though how the case that inspired this story still remains unsolved. I was thinking that this was going to be a 3 star read because I just thought it was okay but then I got more towards the end and all of these plot twists were happening that I didn't see coming. I liked this story and thought it was a pretty good read and I am enjoying this series and the concept of how each one is based off a true crime but this one also isn't my favorite of the series.
