Here is your last task!

Last Task: Read books by authors whose first or last name begins with the first letter of your team name.

Books selected for this task need to be written by authors whose first or last name begins with the first letter of your team name. For this task, books with page counts in multiples of 150 will count as more than one book. For example if your book is 300 pages - it will count as 2 books, if the book is 450 pages - it will count as 3 books, and so on. So don’t be afraid to read longer books! Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count!

Remember completion posts with errors or missing elements will not count towards your team total or the completion of this task. The task will be considered ‘completed’ when each team member has completed one book for this task, additional books will count towards a tie breaker if necessary. Help each other out by double checking posts are complete with the first edition Kindle page count!

There is no need to post a team completion in the Q&A thread, I will be checking all team threads at the conclusion of the challenge. 😊

Hi Team,

As we do our last task, 2 things...

1. Thank you for allowing me to join your team, make newbie mistakes and learn the ways of Goodreads challenges. Since this ended up being a difficult time for me, with the passing of my spouse of 40 years, our little team ended up being one of my few social activities and one that provided great support. A special thanks to Allie and Crystal to introducing me to new genres and authors. A very special thanks to Jean for correcting my many newbie mistakes and endless support.

2. About our last task, since I usually complete our tasks in a few hours, since we will not get another and because longer books earn us more credit, I am doing a very long Alexandre Dumas tome for my final book.

An action packed romantic suspense/thriller. The newest trend by a group of Christian authors is to give a leg up and maybe to get a new take on their previous series is the have new authors submit plot lines for a new book based on the previous series and then coauthor the book.

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Considered one of the best novelist of all time, I was inspired to tackle this collection, not only for the bonus, but because of Dumas' amazing success as a man of color in a time of institutional racism. Novels included were: 1. The Three Musketeers (1844) 2. Twenty Years After (1845) 3. The Vicomte de Bragelonne (1847) 4. Ten Years Later (1847) 5. Louise De La Valliere (1845) 6. The Man in the Iron Mask.

Wow I’m afraid to ask how many hours this was. I listened to all the outlander books and lord john books but at least they were in chunks not all at once. Maybe someday I’ll tackle this book! It’s a deal on Amazon for $0.99.

Review: It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me. But seriously, I feel like me DNFing this book had more to do with me than the book itself. I think I'm in a mega book slump right now because I have not been able to find any books lately that I have been wanting to read and the books that I have been trying to read have not been able to keep my interest. There is no way that all of these books that I have been trying to read are bad so I think it's me that is the problem here. I would like to try to give this book another chance in the future. I just think that right now is not the right time for me to read this story.
