◆ Rating/Review: 3 ⭐⭐⭐I'm going to be honest and admit that my 3 stars might be a bit generous since I have the flu and a fever lol. There were no glaring errors only a couple minor ones but it did not take away from the story. What can I say about the story? The H, Zantu, and h, Brianna, meet when the h jumps into the ocean to drown herself. Within minutes of meeting their having sex. Brianna talks about having a still born baby? Zantu "Sorry your grieved," then they have sex. However I was entertained. Will probably revisit this when I'm not dependent on drugs.

I don't think that matters, it's just the review page, so it shows your rating and when you read it, etc (and a review if there is one).

Another series to add to WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO READ THIS list. I swear, I am allergic to reading things when everyone else reads them and raves about them, then when I finally get to them, I kick myself. I loved Simon and Dalton. Not surprising since I love shifters and dinosaurs. I am a huge Jurassic Park fan, so this was right up my alley. Now on to the rest of the books!!!

I really enjoyed it and it was perfect to end a very long day of work.
I really loved reading about Daisy and Markus storyline, how they met and how their unlikely couple works. As usual Kristen Ashley makes you cry and laugh and cry again and it is still very good moments !

I love so much this series ! I enjoyed a lot te-read this first story of the serie : Cherise Sinclair does an amazing job to introduce Jessica (and us) to the world of the bdsm. She does it with kindness, openness, and I really can’t be anything else but falling for Jessica and Z. Another 5 for me also!

Review: I've been loving this series, it has been so fun having a new book to read every Thursday. I am sad next week will be the last. I haven't loved all the books, but I've liked them all. I liked this one more than expected as it is not a trope that I particularly like (brother's best friend). The author has been a little hit and miss for me too - but again I liked this book more than expected :)

Grady and Ryker were my favorite part of the first book. Their sexual tension was off the charts and I couldn't wait to see where it went. There was pretty much no build up, but it was an interesting story, up until half of it disappeared behind an inexplicable time jump and a lot telling, not showing. I still enjoyed it, just felt like half the story, especially when you added in the drama with Henley. My series whore heart demands I read his book to find out what happens next.

That being said being I don't know if the author did it deliberately or it was an accident but this book was like a love letter to Veronica Mars fans. Veronica Neptune? A little blonde P.I? Yeah that's the only reason this got 3 stars. I knew who would be looking for him from the first chapter.

It’s so frustrating to miss out on important details of the story because of time jumps and the incessant telling instead of showing. That’s the theme of this series. This story definitely could have been exceptional if it didn’t jump around and miss out on so much of the important things that were going on with Henley and Keirnan. I missed the entire development of their relationship beyond the first couple times they were together and we were rushed to the ending. This is where I walk away.

Each book in this series has been an education for me. The fears they face are unconventional, but not any less valid than my fear of dying in a car accident. But Arden . . . . He completely broke my heart. Not just because of his fear of eating, but also the abuse he endured with his ultra-religious family. He definitely would have died if Iggy hadn’t come back into his life when he did.

This was the perfect finale for the Fear series. All the couples are headed to a conference with Dr Kelby to talk about their phobias and how far they’ve come. It’s the perfect way to catch up on all of them at once and see their progress and how their relationships are doing. Plus the added benefit of seeing Bryn’s baby being born and which lucky couple adopted it. This series overall was wonderful.

Anita Blake was one of my first Vampire series and I really was a fan since the beginning. In this one, Anita met a sweet Richard and they were at first very promising, but the plot was much more, the pacing and actions remind me why I was really taken by this series.
I liked it then and still like it now.
