Emery and August have been stepbrother for a little over a year and have a little antagonistic relationship, but still a getting stuck overnight in the snow changes everything. Emery is so damaged and August is infinitely patient with him. They have a lot they need to work through, but they get there.

I cannot imagine how it must feel to live with the feeling that everyone and everything is out to get you. Huxley is such a wonderful and complex character who really has been through hell. He definitely deserves his HEA. Aspen is patient with him, taking the time to learn how to minimize his anxiety and paranoia. This is a hard-fought HEA, but so worth it.

Oh my God!! Roman is the sweetest, most loveable guy in the world! Which makes perfect sense, because he used to be a dog! And lord, was he one lost little puppy! Still fighting his nature and learning to be human after his quickening, he is completely out of his element when DEA agent Matt enters the picture. I was DYING when (view spoiler)[he called Lance because he thought there was something seriously wrong with him when he got his first erection and Tim had to tell him how to masturbate! (hide spoiler)] Matt was his perfect match. There were lots of laughs, plenty of action, and enough heat to keep me up until 3am reading. I love this series!
