I love Ace and Dylan in the first instalments. I really enjoyed their meeting, how they have fallen with each others, their commitment and i loved Dylan family. But this book miss something for me. But still a good conclusion for them

One thing I have always loved about Lori is the depth of her research and her sensitivity when covering tough topics, yet never being afraid to cover these difficult things. This was a tough story to read, but it was still a great read, even knowing that not all these things work out this way. It just shows exactly why so many rapes are unreported and no prosecuted, especially in the military. The romance is beautifully done, showing how trauma can bond you to someone and create something beautiful out of something ugly, especially when two women have both been through hell.

Rating/Review: 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐First time reading this author's work. Silk Road was a breathtaking example of how to take the reader along this epic adventure. It was true to the time period and I actually learned quite a lot while being entertained. Fabulous!!

This is a great addition to Ella's Chicagoverse, with this duet starring Ryan, Alexander's PA
, and Jameson, the fireman who took over for Keiran Bailey. They just keep running into each randomly and Ryan slows breaks through Jameson's walls. It ends on a HFN, so it's off to the next book to get the rest of the story!!!

This is by far my favorite one of the series. Omar has been a fascinating character throughout the series, so I was eager to see him get his HEA, but it was Stevens’s little brother, Sly who really caught my heart. I understood so much of what he was going through, not the Haphephobia, but the feeling like I was wrong and broken until I discovered what asexuality was. And the absolute relief at finally finding an explanation for everything he was feeling, even as it evolved through the time he spent with Omar and the “practice.” I loved seeing the entire series come together with all the characters’ stories playing out in the background as Omar and Sly fell in love. The epilogue was the perfect ending and left me with a completely sappy smile on my face.
