Running into Love has that Aurora Rose Reynolds ‘feel’ you get while reading her books. It’s sweet, light hearted, sexy, and fun. It has a alpha man and an adorable heroine. I was excited to read it when I saw the cover and synopsis, and I liked it a lot!

Fawn is a teacher who lives in NYC. She’s got two sisters and parents she loves, but she’s about done with men. She’s had some bad experiences here lately and she’s over it. Levi is a detective and moves across the hall in Fawns building. They have a fantastic meeting and from there, you can tell Levi is very into Fawn. And Fawn is a bit obvious at first…

I thought this couple was so cute together. I liked Fawn and Levi both. I also loved all the fun side characters. Their families were both fantastic. Seriously, the moms especially were such a hoot. Also, I’m hoping for some spin off books for Fawn’s sisters and Levi’s brother!

The story was on the lighter side, but due to the nature of Levi’s job, there was a bit of a mysterious/suspenseful side story. It was a small part of the book, but still added a little something. Honestly, overall, this book was just so much fun to read. If you’re looking for a fun, entertaining, sweet and steamy read, pick this one up!

This book is a confusing one for me to review because for every thing I didn't like, there was something that I did. Overall it was a good story and maybe most of my issues came from me being too critical of it but there were little things that bugged me throughout my reading.

I actually had to start the beginning of this book over more than once because I was so confused by the first few pages. It opened with Fawn running in the park with her eyes close. Why? Well, I don't know because that was never really explained. Finally moving on and reading more of the story I came across more scenes or information that wasn't explained enough for me to feel connected to the story since it just left me confused.

There were multiple aspects of the story that I felt didn't fit at all. Almost like random information being shoved at me even though it didn't help the story out at all. There was a "mystery" thrown in that I found completely pointless because not only was it very predictable, it wasn't explained enough or featured enough for me to even understand why I was supposed to care about it. It did nothing to help these characters connect so I just didn't get it.

On top of that I just didn't like Fawn. In the beginning I was thinking she was a quirky and fun character but then as I read on she was nothing more than annoying. What was supposed to be funny, I guess, came off more as stupid. It made her character very blah for me and I was rolling my eyes at her more than once.

Like I said, there were parts of the book that I enjoyed and the book as a whole I count as a winner. The issues I had with it did lessen how much I liked it but they didn't make me hate it. Maybe I'm glutton for punishments but I will probably continue with this series since the next sister had me intrigued.

The start of what's going to be an addicting series !

Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of my go-to authors and I know that when I pick up one of her books I’m going to be treated so well with a hot, emotional, sweet, well-rounded story featuring amazingly developed characters and secondary characters that are going to be more than just background players and that I will become just as invested in them as I am in the main couple. And Running Into Love was no exception.

The author isn't breaking any new ground with this one but has instead crafted a drama free, hot, sexy, sweet, entertaining and engaging story that pulled at my heart. I found the hotness factor and Alpha vibe very tamed comparing to her other books that are usually two pervasive and powerful elements in her stories.

The story that develops between Fawn and Levi throughout the course of this book is so real life, that I found myself forgetting that it wasn’t real. I particularly liked the bantering between these two and how the book starts off when Fawn and Levi first meet each other so much! The scene had me literally chuckling and laughing out loud while reading it. Their interaction came very naturally and you could feel that. It was heartwarming to watch their relationship started to grow into what they both needed and deserved. It was real, and honest, and definitely relatable.

I liked all the secondary characters in this book and I am excited to see that the siblings are getting their own stories told. Both Levi and Fawn’s family is beyond lovable, one that everyone wants to be a part of. And I fell in love with their straight-talking mothers.

Overall, I can’t say that Running into Love is my favorite book by ARR but I enjoyed it immensely, nevertheless. A good story, very entertaining that certainly held my attention all the way through!

Quirky twenty-something meets hot police officer, and romance follows. The end.

Alright, perhaps I should elaborate, but I still stand by my one-sentence-review over there : don't expect to be surprised by anything, because you most likely won't.

1) Why did I expect the title to be... hmm... metaphorical? It wasn't. Fawn really does run into Levi (while her eyes were closed, which is never explained and I mean who closes her eyes while running in a public park? Seriously?) and they really do fall in love at that exact moment.

Bummer.

2) Funny thing is, (HA!) they're neighbors. Fawn will have alllll the time in the world to be the cute deer she is, and Levi will enjoy saying stuff like :

*gruff voice, intense stare* "Once you'll have sex with me you'll be mine."

Look, Levi's not an asshole, and I'm not implying he is. It's not my fault if men who love laying it on thick with the MiiiIiiiiNe conversations tend to annoy the fuck out of me. Especially when they feel the need to "possess" and "own" a woman. I mean hellooooooo we're not furniture for crying out loud. If that's your thing, though, you'll love Levi. I didn't.

3) The overload of sentences like "my family is cr*zy hahahaha they do cr*zy stuff don't you think I'm cr*zy" really tested my patience. Especially because it's used as a synonym of "quirky". Hmm nope I don't think so.

4) Devil, protect me from the ex-fiancée -and-her-friend-are-shallow-bitches trope. So useless and overdone, when it adds literally nothing to a story, except showing that :

*drumroll*

5) Fawn is sooooo nooooot like other giiiiiiirls!

Do you see me eye-rolling from over there? Do you?

6) The investigation side-plot was... oh god... Let's say that I felt a very annoying feeling of insta-guess, and as all insta- (except instalust, when it's done well), I hate it.

7) There was NO obstacles. Not one, which influenced the pacing a lot : I was bored.

Sigh. I've got a headache.

*Reading it for my kindle unlimited romance challenge*

descriptionPretty cover on this one. Good representation of the characters (although I don't remember him having tattos ever mentioned??) Great composition and titile work as well.description

descriptionI was in the mood today for something low angst and this one fit the bill to a "T". I will say I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't hotter (no sex until 60%). But as always I enjoyed this author's writing. The pace was good, and I was never bored. There was no OW/OM drama, and the (few) sex scenes were hot. The mystery aspect was OK but honestly took a backseat for most of the book.

description

I adored all the side characters and hope we are going to get books featuring Fawn's sisters and Lucas. Both main characters were fairly likable. I LOVED Levi. There is no doubt ARR knows how to write a good alpha hero. Fawn I liked a bit less. She came across a bit..I don't want to say like an idiot...maybe a little too naive for a 27-year-old woman. Her inability to see what was so incredibly obvious was annoying to me at times. But she didn't annoy me enough that it affected my rating or enjoyment. Lastly, it was all wrapped up in a few sweet epilogues.description

When she inadvertently runs into Levi Fremont, a homicide detective, sparks fly and an instant connection is made. Although Levi has to work hard to win Fawn's trust, once their friendship is formed the physical attraction they feel for one another brings them together and a match made in heaven is made.

"You good with me and you?"
Told in dual POV, Running into Love is a sweet romance that is a perfect read for someone seeking a light and whimsical contemporary romance. I enjoy Ms. Reynolds writing style and as always her characters are endearing and full of heart. The secondary characters offer depth to the plot and although the relationship between the main characters happens fast, they are perfectly matched for each other.

Overall, I am a huge fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds and would not hesitate to recommend her work to all of my contemporary romance loving friends.

“Who would have thought running with your eyes closed would lead to love?”

When Fawn meets Levi, neither one are in the market for a relationship. Hell, after the admittedly meet cute way they came to be introduced via Fawn’s enthusiastic dog, she’d probably prefer to stay as far away from Levi as humanly possible. Too bad that hot, sweet police detective just moved in right across the hall from her.

I have to be honest and say Running into Love was not at all what I expected when I started reading. And that’s not a bad thing. I’ve read quite a few ARR books and while I’ve enjoyed all of them to varying degrees, this one was a welcome departure from her norm. I’m used to the in love at first sight, growly, monosyllabic men taking a “my way or the highway” approach to most everything in their lives, including their women. In turn, the women put up their fair share of pouting and bitching but they always seem to come around.

Levi and Fawn’s story felt a little like Aurora Rose Reynolds Lite and you know what? I loved it.

Levi’s plenty alpha, don’t get me wrong but sometimes it’s nice to just read about a couple who fits a more normal level of, well, normal. Fawn’s sweet and goofy with a touch of neurotic (the fun kind) thrown in for good measure, just like the rest of us. I enjoyed the fact that these characters are fully grown adults who’ve learned to deal with their baggage and the only real “scars” they’re dealing with stem from their boisterous but loving families being too involved in their lives. Sometimes that’s all you need.

After a couple of serious reads, Running into Love was just what I needed. This low key but sweet story had me hooked from the beginning. This book is the first of a new series and I’m hoping Fawn’s sisters as well as Levi’s brother get their stories told. It would even be nice if said brother could share a story with one of the aforementioned sisters, but that’s just me.

This was a quick, sweet, low angst, fun read. It had some great humor, pretty much insta-love, quirky characters, and a loveable pupper, too.

description

That being said... there were parts that seemed confusing to me including the opening scene of this book where the two MCs meet while she's running through New York with her eyes closed and flailing her arms... ummm, okay?? Odd.

description

With our H being a detective with the NYPD, I thought "Oh... she must be running from a perp and he's gonna be the one to catch the bad guy and save the day."

description

But, no... she was just running through a park with her eyes closed while flailing her arms.
Hmm... Confusing.

description
(See, even Usain Bolt is confused. Clearly he knows that is not an efficient way to run.)

There were a few other situations that were a tad odd and overly coincidental, but I'll not spoil any more of the book.

Overall, this is a great little fluff read. And, aside from the few odd little quirky bits, it really was fun and funny to read with a decent amount of steaminess in there as well.

Overall it was a safe, sweet read.
Not quite my kind of a heroine; too insecure and too soft.
The hero was ok.

I rarely comment on writing, but here I need to say, that I’m used to this author’s writing being more engaging.

Either I lost track of the story or I had not enough coffee the morning I read it.

What I liked:
- h’s dog Muffin
- h’s caring for her students (she was a teacher)
- h’s dog Muffin

It’s not that I didn’t like the heroine, she was just not my kind of a woman:
she was very insecure and didn’t hide it;
she permanently blushed;
she tortured her bottom lip (she bit it, she chewed on it, she bit it, she chewed on it; she pulled it between her teeth and bit it; till the time he nipped it, I had physical reaction/phantom bottom lip pain);
she answered his questions/statements with the same questions: You are beautiful. You think I’m beautiful? Yes, you are beautiful. You really think I’m beautiful?

He called her cute and adorable.
Adorable and cute. Cute and adorable.

In my world these 2 words are not a compliment from a man to a woman.

The part their families came to Thanksgiving – I gave up.
Too many people, too much ohs and ahs, plus the issue with his ex?..

So, bottom lip.
Sorry!!!! Of course bottom line!!!
I mean bottom line!!!

The story was cute. And adorable.

Fawn Reed is a beautiful, single 27 yr. old woman living in New York. She's a fifth grade teacher & an animal lover who adores her dog. She's currently given up on men since she's never lucky in love.

Levi Fremont is a gorgeous 30 yr. old guy who recently moved to New York. He's a homicide detective for the NYPD, & is extremely dedicated to his job. He eats & sleeps work until one day he has a run in with a stunning blonde. She literally runs into him, & words are exchanged. Then they realize they are neighbors & things get more complicated. They continue to see each other & start spending time together. They really enjoy each other's company & share an intense attraction neither can deny. Sparks fly, & soon they both want to see where things go. Feelings quickly develop, & soon they are both crazy about each other & mean everything to one another.

-"You stole my heart and my breath the day you ran into me."

I ran into a problem…or two.

I have written the beginning of this review 4 times. I can't get my thoughts down to explain the things I liked and the things I struggled with. It was a good book, just not good for me. I started Running into Love and within the first few pages, I was pulling squinty eyes that morphed into eye twitches.

The first sentence of the book introduces us to a woman running with her hands in the air and her eyes closed. My first thought was – Oooh, Is she in danger? Now, that would have been interesting and maybe even a good thing. You know, she’s running from danger and the big tough detective will save her? Well, I kept reading…waiting… waiting… waiting…

And…I’m still waiting. I have no bloody idea why the heroine was running with her eyes closed, waving her hands in the air. I started to over-think it...she's in New York, isn't that dangerous? Why are her hands in the air waving? Waving someone down? Trying to get someone's attention? Is she running from someone? I think it was because she was listening to music and maybe run/dancing??

She’s of course gorgeous, takes in rescue pups and a 5th grade teacher who loves kids. If that isn’t enough, she has two gorgeous sisters as well. Geez, it was like watching an episode of Friends…the re-run. I’ve seen it before, know what’s coming and while it’s mildly amusing, it doesn’t have the impact it should because…I’ve seen it coming. She’s a little kooky, he's sweet and tolerant, the additional characters walk in (enter stage left) at the wrong moments, and it’s a comedy of errors.

Now, all of the kooky happens in the first 40%. I thought about stopping a couple of times but I kept going because I couldn’t say it was bad. It was just a little annoying. After the 40% mark, I settled in. I liked the characters, started to feel their instant connection and believed they had potential.

The next part I’m going to put in spoilers because it’s my issue with their first sex scene.

I can see you’re questioning why the heck I gave it 3 stars when it seems as if it’s all bad. Well, I couldn’t help but like it in the end. Sure, it was way, way, way insta-love and predictable, but, the second half of the book was actually pretty good. I even came home from work dying to see how it ended.

To each, his own and all that jazz, don't judge this book by my opinion alone. Take the time to read what other's say, and you may find Running into Love makes you laugh, make you sigh and works perfectly for you.

**ARC RECEIVED IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW * *

This kind of book is like catnip for me. It's sweet, funny and very low angst. I absolutely adored Fawn and Levi both individually and as a couple.

Fawn was quirky, sweet and hilarious. Never a dull moment with that girl. I loved that she didn't push Levi away and let their relationship progress without a lot angst.

Levi was so awesome. The alpha that I always love from ARR. He was a tough as nails detective but soft for Fawn. I loved that he was not portrayed as a manwhore.

-no cheating
-no pushing away
-om/om drama - extremely minimal and did not have any impact on the couple's relationship
-some steamy scenes but they were well past the 50% mark before they happened.
-safe
-great secondary characters that I look forward to hearing more about
-great epilogues

Genre: Romance
Setting: New York
POVs:
HEA:
Writing style: 3/5
Romance: 4/5
Occupations:

It's been a long time since I've read an ARR novel and the word "babe" that appeared in the second paragraph on the first page reaffirmed why I no longer enjoy reading these kinds of novels like I used to. The dialogues have become highly predictable and the characters interchangeable from series to series, but I can always find something in these stories to enjoy. Fawn and Levi kept me lightly entertained and this book sort of fed my desire to read something romantic, cute, and light.

Loved

I love that ARR makes family such an important component in her stories. Fawn's sisters and Levi's family provided some comic relief and I loved the chapter titles because they were fun and at times silly. What I loved most about this book was that Levi wasn't the usual OTT caveman brut. He was likable, charming, kind, and a far cry from the public servants I usually read about in more realistic crime fiction novels. The epilogue was very satisfying and guaranteed to make any ARR fan smile.

► This book is perfect for a reader looking for a light-hearted story with minimal derogatory words used, predictable outcomes, and a simple storyline.

4 STARS!

This book grabs your attention right off with Fawn literally running into Levi. She just happened to be running with her eye's closed. She's quirky like that. Instantly they start to banter and I am sucked in to their snarky charm. It just so happens when they part it's not for long because of course Levi is Fawn's new neighbor.

Fawn is a 5th grade teacher who loves her job and her kids. Levi is a detective with the NYPD and is young to have made it so far so soon in his field. Both have loud intrusive crazy families that we fortunately get to hang out with quite a bit in this story. Fawn is quirky and is adorkable and a bit clumsy. She is a beautiful girl who doesn't realize her beauty. She would rather be in her jeans and random t-shirts then dress up. She is my kind of gal. She was funny. She has an amazing dog named Muffin who gets her mixed up in some awkward moments when it comes to Levi. The dog loves him which frustrates Fawn since Muffin usually hates men. The dog brought a lot of comic relief. I adored her. Levi is a patient man. He is also quite the alpha male. Very attractive and a bit on the bossy side. But not in a annoying way. He's new to his job and the city and away from any family. But meeting Fawn has totally turned his world upside down. In a good way of course. He is sure that she is his future while Fawn still feels unsure of what they are doing. Like I said, the man is patient. It takes Fawn a little longer to realize that Levi isn't going anywhere and that he loves her.

The book was funny with a lot of great characters. I look forward to the next book which I am hoping will be about Luke and Libby.

Great angst free read with some laughs and great characters. I highly recommend this one for those of you wanting a carefree enjoyable read.

Happy reading dolls! xx

This book was so freakin adorable and completely hit the spot for me. It was low angst, stress free, funny and hot! There is nothing better than being able to read a book that makes you smile from beginning to end.

I love how Fawn and Levi met. Fawn is just a little bit scatterbrained and Levi is the not so nice guy, except when it comes to fawn, well except for their first meet. It was cute and got me excited to see where ARR was going to take the story.

Fawn and Levi both have crazy families and I love how the author incorporated them along with a stubborn dog into the storyline. Great characters, great chemistry, great storyline! ARC provided by NetGalley.

I am twirling inside with giddiness!

Fawn and Levi literally run into each other and the chemistry is instantaneous. When Fawn realizes the hot handsome stranger she practically tackled is her new neighbor she finds herself tied in knots. She’s pretty much given up on dating. It’s just all so…confusing. What she doesn’t comprehend is that Levi is bewitched with the clumsy, crazy, gorgeous woman who lives next door and he’s determined to find out if together they can find “more”.

Aurora Rose Reynolds writes the kind of books and characters that just light me up and Fawn and Levi’s story certainly did so. I smiled through all the wild uncertainties that Fawn fumbled through and swooned during the returning moments of assurance that Levi countered them with. He’s the perfect alpha hero. He refused to move their relationship into the physical realm until she was able to accept that that step would solidify her as belonging only to him. And when things get physical in an ARR book, things get hot!

This is the perfect read. Filled with humor, heart and passion as well as lots of family and great secondary characters, it checked every one of my boxes. Add in a couple of amazing epilogues that just grabbed my heart and I am a very happy reader.

"Running into Love" was a nice reading. I'm done, that's it! No just kidding, I have a few things to say...as always!

I liked the book but it was just a nice reading to pass my time. Levi was good enough but not the alpha male I'm used to from this author, at least for me. And Fawn was like on of her students, same attitude and a little immature...Ok maybe I'm exaggerating, but come on, sometimes she was too naive (I mean her student Tamara was more serious and mature than her). Oops I'm being mean, AGAIN! This is my opinion only and how I saw this heroine because I usually enjoy ARR's heroines and this one didn't work for me so well.

So I love this author and I will keep reading her books because even though there are always some issues here and there that don't make any sense or we never get a proper explanation, I still enjoy them. In this book or may I say in the last couple of her books she just created situations for the sake of the book without giving us details or explanations of why were some things happening...I mean I understand that those situations get us going and excited but at least make them a little more believable...

I hope the next sister, Mac and Wesley's book is better explained than this... Do I make any sense or I'm just rumbling non stop..??? Well whatever!

Running Into Love was one of the sweetest, funny and most lighthearted novels I’ve read in a while! A true feel-good kind of story!

Fawn, after a long line of disastrous relationships and dates, has basically given up on the dating scene. Add to that her nerdy and homebody character, she doesn’t hold much hope to find a love like her parents, a true forever kind of relationship.

That is, until she literally runs into a delectable shirtless stranger, LOL!

Levi, recently relocated to NYC, doesn’t know what hit him when this quirky and clueless gorgeous woman comes his way, so when he finds out she’s his brand new neighbor. Instantly attracted, he knows a good thing when he sees it, and he knows Fawn needs to be his, now he just had to convince her…

No one has ever kissed me the way he does. No one has ever made me feel the way he does—like he’s marking me, claiming me as his.

Or better yet, show her, because this woman was so adorably clueless when it came to the opposite sex. That was just one of the numerous qualities that hooked Levi in, as well as it did me. I loved her inner thoughts and hilariously awkward situations, she put herself (and her sisters) in. I couldn’t get enough, and neither could Levi. ;)

The woman who has made me want more out of life, the woman I want to spend my life with.

Levi was every bit of ARR Alpha – with a bit of more added patience, lol – and I adored how insistent and relentless he was in his pursuit of showing Fawn all they could be, and how he felt towards her, in all his protective, possessive and loving splendor. He was amazing!

And Muffin!!! How could I forget the Levi's main supporter and advocate! That dog was awesome and needs lifelong supply of treats for all his role in bending Fawn to what was right in from of her!

Aurora Rose Reynolds, in Running Into Love gave me everything I look for in my Romance: a lot of funny touched with a bit of sadness, romantic and loving moments spiced up with some sexy times, delicious banter and to top it of a interesting suspense subplot that ties it all in this fantastic and colorful bow! Perfect start for this brand new ARR series!

Equally fantastic were all the secondary characters – seriously, their families were a hoot! – and I’m counting down the days until the next books of the series, and I’m crossing my fingers that we get Mac and Wesley as well as Libby and Lucas as MCs for the upcoming books!!! Pretty please?! Can’t wait!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

4 1/2 stars,
I had a great time reading this book, it's exactly what you think of when you think of a Aurora Rose Reynolds book. The hero is crazy possessive and knows he wants the heroine form the start and he also doesn't mess around. The heroine is sweet and kind and not full of herself and the perfect match for our hero. This was an easy fun read, I flew through it and just really enjoyed reading this book from being to end. I was never board and I didn't want to skim or skip around and though I have a book by a favorite author waiting to be read I didn't want to just get this one read so I could move on(which can happen if a book don't hold my attention).

Running in the park one day Levi and Fawn run into each other, literally. Both are attracted to the other but Levi also rubs Fawn the wrong way, and Fawn is careless in Levi's opinion. Going home from her disastrous run Fawn can't believe that the apartment next door to her is now being renting by none other than Levi, the man she ran into and worse her dog, the trader who hates men can't get enough of Levi.

Levi can't get Fawn out of his mind and is ok doing what he needs to to get her. Though Fawn can't deny the attraction she has to Levi and also admits that he isn't the jerk she first though he was far from it in fact Fawn just doesn't get why he wants to spend time with her and be friends. But Levi has no desire to be Fawns friend and is willing to do whatever it takes to get and keep her. As their relationship grows into something they have both always dreamed of Levi's and Fawns job collide putting their happy ending at risk of never happening.

This was a great book to what I think will be an amazing series. Not only did I love Levi and Fawn but we are also introduced to a whole set of characters who add more to this book, and some who will get their own books in the future. As you read this book it's pretty obvious(unless I am crazy) who the main characters will be in two more books. And I very happy with that. If I had to make one observation/complaint it would be Like I said not a big thing but it made go mmmm, why I don't get it. All in all I really, really liked this one and highly recommend it.

When I first read Miss Reynolds book, I remember I do not like it. I even shelved it under DNF. I remember it was boring and I avoid her books ever since.
When I see Running into Love, I took a chance listening to the audio book. And I am surprise that I like this book OK. Yes the story, the plot, the drama is simple and min of angst. Not so complex on the story development. Just a relaxing beach read.

The character development is OK. Likeable hero and heroine. Even though The POV is mainly from Fawn. I wish I can get more from Levi's POV. There is insta lust/ insta love. But not that annoying.

Overall I do enjoy the book OK

4.5 Stars!

Another sugary sweet hit by ARR! I adored the quirky lovable characters and the steaming romance in this story.

Fawn is a 27 year old 5th grade teacher who hasn't had the best luck in finding love. In comes her drop dead gorgeous new neighbor and lets just say she's about to get lucky...

Levi is a 30 year old detective who loves his job and family. He meets Fawn and is determined to get through all her barriers and make her his. He was super alpha and determined, but also let's her accept him at her own pace.

I really enjoyed this story and I am super excited for this series to continue with Fawn's sisters. They both are pretty amazing and I can't wait to read their stories!

I might be in the minority here but I didn't enjoy this one as much as I thought I would. I liked most of it, but there was some stuff I just couldn't ignore. For one, I felt like Fawn acted and thought too much like an insecure tween then a mature professional 27 year old. We're told she's a school teacher but the way the author describes her - thoughts, actions, mannerisms - didn't not connect. I felt like I was reading a YA books rather than a romance between two adults.

Then there's the pace of the story always feeling disjointed. For example, the opening scene was all over the place. It took a while for me to realize that crazy Fawn was intentionally jogging with her eyes closed in a crowded park and that she was genuinely clueless as to way she found herself on the ground, tangled up with a stranger. There was insta lust but also a bunch of other feelings that felt off putting and forced, on both sides. Levii and Fawn's inner dialogue jumped from one extreme to the next with no transition. That whole scene was more awkward than silly or endearing, which is what I think the author was going for.

Lastly, the crazy over indulgence of the word baby/babe that Levi used on Fawn. It seriously felt so overused and it got cringe worthy at times because Fawn was so flippin clueless. For someone not sure where she stands with a guy (friend zoned or actual interest) Fawn was surprising okay with all the babes and babys Levi threw her way. I was seriously shaking my head every other paragraph because of this.

I will say that Levi was a good MC, he was kind, caring, affectionate and seemed to love Fawn in all her clueless and air headed glory, so I guess... I can't honestly pin point why he would love her but it made two people happy and they got their happily ever after - in a round about, trippy/loopy way - so, yeah, the romantic is me was happy he was happy but this one wasn't not a favorite. Neither of Fawn's sisters tugged at my interest and although Levi's brother (soon to be single dad) sounds mildly interesting, the fact that it's hinted he'll be paired with one of Fawns sisters, I think I'll pass on his story too.

Memorable Moment (for the wrong reasons):
When Fawn's mom says this:
"Honey, I suggest you get knocked up soon so he doesn't get away."

I think the author was trying to be funny and make Fawn's mom a goofy eccentric type but that was just wrong on too many levels to be funny. Take into account the fact that they just met Levi, and yes, he's well mannered and cute and seems really into Fawn, but you literally just met this guy! In this day and age, isn't it common knowledge that getting "knocked up" does not a happy relationship make?

Running Into Love is the beginning of a new series by one of my favorite authors. I was so excited to dive into this one. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the BOOM that I was expecting.

While I enjoyed the book overall, I didn’t like the heroine. Man oh man, Fawn had me scratching my head. From running (jogging) with her eyes closed to running from Levi every time he expressed an interest in her, I was at a loss.

Like seriously questioning this girl’s sanity.

Levi even calls her crazy! I am not making this up, folks. I know this sounds really bad, but trust me it gets better.

Here’s the breakdown: Down on love, Fawn is taking a break from the opposite sex. She wants someone to love, but she has the worst luck imaginable when it comes to finding the one. Levi, on the other hand never considered a relationship until he literally runs into Fawn. Her crazy antics pique his interest and his libido.

What I enjoyed: Levi is the business! He’s super sweet, very sexy, and commanding. I lurved everything about him. He deserves a medal just for putting up with Fawn’s foolishness. ARR excels at writing sexy and swoony alphas!

I liked the story. The family dynamic was impressive and provided several laugh out loud moments. The moms were super cute. Fawn’s sisters are interesting. Loved them!

The dog….yep you read that correctly. I loved the comic relief provided by Fawn’s pet. Muffin was a definite highlight of the entire story. Don’t side-eye me. I love pets. LOL

I know this is one of the weirdest reviews I’ve ever written, overall I count this as a win.

While Running Into Love wasn’t the Boom I was expecting, it was still a really good read. I’m looking forward to seeing what else this series has in store for us.

I am a big fan of this author. I really loved her "Until" series and the "Underground Kings" !! So of course I had to give this new book a go ;)

Even though I did enjoy reading this one...it wasn't my favorite of her.

I found the openingscene of this book pretty confusing. The heroine was running around with her arms wide and her eyes closed and ran into the hero. When he asks her if she is alright afterwards she acts all flighty, and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why, and what was going on.

tenor.gif (498×278)

Thankfully it did get better and things became more clear.

So, Fawn is a 27 year old school teacher. She and her two sisters are quite gorgeous and all single. Fawn is pretty much done with the whole dating scene, after some disasters. She is also very clumsy and accident prone... well at least when the hero is around.

Xm80G.gif (480×270)

Like I said, she runs into the hero during the opening scene, and he turns out to be her new neighbour.

Levi, is completely smitten with Fawn from the moment he first lays eyes on her. He's a handsome homicide detective, who knows exectly what he wants, when he sees it...and what he wants now is Fawn.

He makes work of pursuing her, but it takes Fawn some time, to see what is right in front of her.

When she finally wakes up, these two were pretty sweet and hot together.

20150429_5540fc3a12b1d.jpg (398×550)

The steamy scenes were extremely hot, but there were also some cliche parts, that made me roll my eyes.

tumblr_nkhzfm0Am51tt7534o5_250.gif (160×160)

Like the fact that he has such a huge cock, that her fingers don't thouch, when she wraps them around him. Or the fact that he is so big that he touches some place deep inside her, that she never knew excisted. Oh... and he can also make her come 3/4 times in a row.

Now I am not saying this a bad thing.... I just think I have read these same things, too many times already.

That said, the book was still very entertaining to me. Their families especially cracked me up and I will definitely be reading the books about the other sisters ;)

There was also a bit of suspence, having to do with Levi and Fawn's work.

So this may not have been my favorite read by this author. It was enjoyable non the less.

Running into Love was a nice and easy read. A low angst romance with a sweet and fun heroine and protective alpha hero. I did enjoy it however whenever I put it down I kind of forgot about it. It wasn't one of those books that really pulled me in and made me not want to stop reading. I just wish the suspense part of the plot was stronger. Overall if you enjoy ARR books I think you will like this one.

Fawn is a teacher that loves her job and her students but unfortunately she’s not as lucky at love as she is with her job. Just when she swore men out of her life and run in the park may change that when she bumps against a handsome stranger while running with her eyes close (don’t ask!). But the big surprise of them all, is when she finds out that she has a hot new neighbor, Levi… and the handsome stranger from the park.
Levi is a man that knows what he wants and as soon as he starts to know Fawn he wants her… he just needs to break through her spell.

If you follow my reviews, you know that Aurora Rose Reynolds is one author that I love. I’ve read and massively enjoyed all of her books. As usual this one was sweet, sexy and heartwarming just with enough background action to make it interesting. My main issue was with Fawn (see book details), that I couldn’t connect very well.
Other than that, this is definitely a solid romance book and if you’re a fan of the author, then you know exactly what it’s in the store.

Characters Development: Levi was the usual alpha male, sexy, possessive and sweet enough to make him an alpha in a likeable and adorable way. Fawn… was a bit of an issue to me. Don’t get me wrong, she was a sweet and caring heroine, but in “adorably dumb” way that people seem to think heroines need to be in order to be liked. As a woman, and as a personal preference, I like my heroines independent and strong willed (preferably sassy as well) falling in love with the hero because it happens… not because they absolutely need a man in their lives and I felt like this was the case here. I loved the sisters and the crazy parents… definitely reading their books!

Sweet, charming, and utterly adorable!!!! Aurora Rose Reynolds has readers smiling big as she treats her readers to a feel good romance in her latest new book,Running Into Love. This book had all the romantic elements to make you swoon. And boy oh boy did I wish I was running into the arms of Detective Levi Fremont.

#RunningIntoLove

Fawn Reed is a twenty-seven year old single lady living in New York City. She loves her job, crazy family, and her pup, Muffin. As far as her love life, it’s pretty much non-existent. In today’s modern dating scene where you are either swiping left and right, it leaves little hope for Fawn to believe in the happily ever after that is until she literally runs into the arms of her new neighbor, Levi Fremont.

Levi is a thirty year old NYPD detective who is instantly drawn to Fawn and her pup. Levi loves that Fawn is a little crazy, accident prone and shy. From the first meeting, he is totally smitten with her and knows that he needs to be the one to constantly break down her walls. As Levi spends more time with her, Fawn begins to explore this new relationship that they have and soon it doesn’t take long for them to establish the boyfriend/girlfriend talk.

Levi and Fawn are absolutely adorable together. Toss in Levi’s crazy family and Fawn’s meddling and crazy family, prepare for lots of fun and embarrassing moments. Yes, you will be smiling big especially when it comes to Libby and Mac.

Running Into Love is a light, low angst and high on love romance story. I really enjoyed this carefree and sweet read from Aurora Rose Reynolds. What’s not to love...a lovable pup, meddlesome and crazy family members and lots of love between Levi and Fawn. So if you are looking for a romance that was sweet and sticky as molasses, then I highly recommend you to read this book. Aurora will definitely have you wanting more of the Reed sisters and what awaits for them.

Fawn Reed has decided she is giving up on the dating game, there are too many rules to follow and it always leaves her feeling like love is just not possible. Fawn inadvertently runs into a man while jogging, he is stunningly gorgeous but getting flustered she storms off. Never in her wildest dreams did she think he would be moving in to he apartment across her hall.

Levi Fremont has moved with his new job as homicide detective in NYC. Meeting Fawn certainly left an impression but he can't tell if she is interested in him or not. Levi certainly is interested in her and when he realizes that Fawn is skittish about him, he acts on it. Can Fawn realize what is in front of her before it is too late?

5 million stars for this one. Instant favorite, this was so entertaining I was ready to read it again 24 hours later. The first time Fawn and Levi meet is hilarious, she is quirky and her family is a hoot. I want more of this series and hope they are in the works soon. Levi, if you like alpha male characters who exude yumminess, this is a book for you. One of the best this talented author has written.

I luv to run into Levi.

I luv how this books starts with Fawn and Levi literally running into each other will Fawn running into him any way. The story is good I enjoyed it. I liked Fawn she is a great character. I like that she is different ye she's still very beautiful but I like that shes nerdy clumsy and caring. She is also a lil unsure of herself sometimes when she has no need at al she is a great person it's hard to luv her. This is why Levi found it hard to keep away.

Levi is a new detective for the NYPD and he loves his job. Moving into a new city can be hard. But for Levi thinks didn't work out bad he ended up moving into a new apartment. Where the crazy girl (Fawn) from the park lives. He things weren't great at the begin but with the help from Muffin thing got a lil better. Well for Levi it did he got to to know her better. Fawn just died of embarrassment haha.

These two made a great couple they were just great from the start. I did think that them getting together was a lil to easy. It had something missing I can't really out my finger on it they were just to perfect. I wanted a lil more drama of something happen it was sorted straight away I want a bit more fight. They were super hot together and the sexual tension between them was crazy at the beginning. I just would of liked more drama.

Overall I did enjoy it it was a good read. The story flowed well and I enjoyed the characters i liked lot of the other characters. So I would like to read more about them Mac and Libby are great there Fawn sisters. Lucas Levi's brother is interesting as well so I would luv more from these guys. I would recommend this book if they wanted a cute romance story great characters and with not a lil bit of drama.
