Review:
Even though I was NOT pleased about the ending (well, where the author left us hanging for now) I was completely blown away by this story! I intend to jump straight into Marcel and Luca's story because... Marcel!
This story was all over the place with feels. Happy. Sad. Disappointment. Fear. Hope. Anger. Attraction. Hate. You name an emotion and that was in the story. Ellison wasn't at all like I thought he would be and Grey wasn't either. That first scene set a picture in my mind that was totally NOT who these two men would become. Grey had to fight for every rung up the ladder that he climbed and Ellison spent over ten years doing what he hated to get to the place he so wanted to be. Just as they both were ready to see the reward of their labors, it all starts to slowly fall apart.
Evil has a way of stepping in and turning life into chaos, but have no fear... Marcel is here! But, seriously, there was an excellent cast of characters in this story and as Grey and Ellison slowly work through their own issues, they realize that taking a chance on each other is scary but totally worth it in the end! As for Ellison's dad? Paybacks are hell! *grin*

Ill be honest I wasn't sure what to expect from the book. Don and Jay meet when they are 16 and the book takes us through 7 days in their lives until they are in their late 20s.
For the majority of the time, they aren't together as fate seems to have a hand in it. Eventually, they are both in Wisconsin and illness brings them back into each other's lives.
As you only get 7 days of the many years, I did feel I missed things and when one of the days represented something significant and then the next chapter had moved on by months or even years. However on the whole I did enjoy it.

I've enjoyed all the books in the series but I think this one may be my favorite. Talk about opposites attract, boy did they. I got a bit emotional but smiled a lot too. The kids actually added to the story which is a bonus and I love seeing our old friends in the band. Winner for sure!!

Review:
Great characters, full of action, a few surprises and quite an extended mystery. The MCs were so sweet once they are thrust together, having to work things out. The secondary characters are really well crafted, with Ari stealing the show.
There are so many open avenues to follow that I can see quite a few instalments to get through them. But looking at the series page, I'm surprised there are only two more. I have to admit, that makes me far more tempted to jump right back in, knowing it won't be heavily drawn out.
Narrated by Greg Boudreaux - 5 stars.

Not my favorite book by this author but definitely worth reading. This is the first book in the series so we meet a lot of people and get a bit of their backstories. Ben drove me a little nuts with his hero complex but Colby stole my heart. I loved the way they really were great support for each other and became really good friends. Ben's brother and their therapist friend have to have their own books with the setup and I can't wait. Good start to a new series.

Review:
OK, before I say what I am going to say, remember that I thoroughly enjoyed the story! Now, take book one and exchange the MC's names with Zane and Orion and that is book two. Yes, there are a few switch-ups but it would appear that this series is going to be more of a cookie-cutter style than I was expecting.
But, let's be honest here! When have I ever NOT been a sucker for "the next book" in a series? It is what it is... *sigh* LOL!!!
So, now I move on to Before the Storm so that I can finally find out what all the angst is that has been keeping Danyal and Mikael apart for all these years... it should be interesting!
Also, this is being presented as a trilogy, so I am hoping to get the whole "world at peace" wrap-up that I want. We shall see...

Well, hell! I truly thought this was the last book in this series... IT'S NOT... grrr
I mean, I am glad that sometime in the future, in mid-2023, we will finally get the answers we so deserve, but... WAITING is not my strong suit!
The fact that I almost took a star off just for the wait, but didn't, should show you that I am a better person than that. At least that is what I keep telling myself as I type this... all bullshi*t if you ask me! *snort* LOL!!!
As for the story itself, I liked the way the story flowed in and out of the first and second story and I didn't really have a problem keeping track of who was where and what they were doing. Seeing two men sit down and actually try to have a conversation about their feelings always fascinates me, so kudos to Danyal and Mikael for making the effort. There wasn't always a success, but they gave us hope!
As is everyone else, I am curious to see what twists and turns this last book will present to us. So I will do my best to work on my "waiting" skills and go read some OTHER great books! *grin*

Well, the feud between Maxwell and River finally reaches a head and we find out why River dislikes Max so much. Also Royce is forced into a special election all the while he is investigating 3 murders. This book was long but read really quickly. I love these 2 together and I am hoping there might be another book after this. I want to see the wedding.

This is a hard one to rate. I really wanted Roman's story but Brooks was suck a dick that it was really hard to like him at all. Roman deserved better than some whiny, not very smart, judgmental douche. I didn't hate Brooks by the end but for a lot of the book...just no. They did have some smoking sex but the whole thing was lacking for me.

It took me a while to get into the story. At first, there were too many characters for me to keep them all straight.
Eventually though I did get into it and it was an ok story. It set the beginnings of Simon and Jeremy and I think they might be a fun ride.

Ghosts and MM romance? I'm in! LM has created a great scenario and introduces new characters for future set ups. The friendly ghosts are a hoot, secondary characters are well drawn, and our MCs and their dance (after much friction) is a pleasure to read ;) Loved the action of course as well.
