Oh. My. God. I was a freaking mess through most of this story. I just can't. Painful, so incredibly painful. But hopeful and an HEA. What these two went through trying to be together was just so insane. Loved both MCs but didn't agree with either one of them all the time. Just Loved It!!

Review:
If I was going to have to read a "sports" book, it was darn well going to be one that I knew I would enjoy and this definitely fits the bill! Jordan and Owen were and always will be my "go-to" sports book couple!

Original Review:
I chuckled at the one-liners... I groaned at the one-liners... I cried a few times, both happy and sad tears. But most of all I was awed by the realism that Ms. Easton brought to the story. In Jordan's eyes, Owen is the superhero and yes he was... but what Jordan failed to see was how brave he was himself. Being true to yourself can sometimes be the hardest thing you ever do in your life, and Jordan was "that guy"!

It was a true joy watching these two young men grow up right before my very eyes and even though they had to overcome many obstacles and fight for the right to be who they really were... they got the happy ending they deserved! How I wish real life could be a reflection of fiction and there would be happy endings for all. Maybe, someday... if we all keep fighting the hate and the bigotry our wishes will come true!

Review:
Sweet and interesting - the story flows very nicely and the MCs (and their cohorts) are well fleshed out with good personalities. Not perfect; not flawed.
MC Asher's back story (when we are finally told) explains much of his traits and rituals. MC Blake is the one facing big life decisions...

Narrated by Alexander Cendese - he may have fallen out of character a couple of times, but always a pleasure.

Not so sure I liked Dennis even at the end. There didnt seem to be many good qualities about him and I thought Raven let him off too easily.
That said, this was an easy to read book which I enjoyed.

Review:
I want to start by saying... May 2023 is TOO far away!!!

Now, for the story... YES! (view spoiler)[That seems to be the answer to the most important question... if said question ever manages to get asked! (hide spoiler)]

There were enough twists and turns in this story to make me car sick, but we certainly got a lot of answers to long-standing questions! Jack and Ellery made relationship progress and can I just say, for some reason, I have always felt like Jack's name should be... NOT Jack! 🤦‍♀️ I have NO clue why this bothers me. Jack is a perfectly good name. It just doesn't seem to fit the character. It is probably just me... 😭😭😭

Now, I suppose I will need to go find something else to keep me entertained while I wait for Corpse at Captain's Seat to be released. 🤔

A difficult story to read as it centered on child abuse. Carter, a local cop rescues Alex from men exploiting him and he is placed with a local social worker. A relationship grows between the 2 men and also they begin to feel for the young boy.
The ending was a little predictable and alot happened in what I thought was literally just a few days, but I enjoyed the story.

I don't know what took me so long but this was a really cute book. It even got me in the feels a couple of time. Andy is a barista at the coffee stand in the hospital where Corbin works and has had a crush on the doc forever. Then Corbin's son in beaten up repeatedly and he asks for Andy's help with the whole situation hence the fake boyfriend trope comes in to play. Of course it turn real and with Corbin's friends and Andy's gam-gam we get a whole cast of interesting characters. Fun read.

Always enjoy a JL mystery, and this one was great. The descriptive prose is spot on; not flowery, but creative whilst succinct and nailing the different character personalities. I love these characters and their interrelated storylines being pulled together.

Was there an astronomical amount of grammatical errors? Yes! Do I still love Ronan and Tennyson the bestest? Yes! Is this series full of snark and family love that makes it so easy to love? Yes!

I know, I can be bought with kids and family every time!

Nero and Fallen's story didn't work for me as much as I would have liked, but I think that was ALL on me. I am hoping that when we get Brando's story I will be in a better frame of mind!
