This one was fun. The Halloween party scene, yes please! It took these two a while to figure out what was going on but it was a fun ride the whole way. Love this family! And manties, who doesn't love those?! Very sweet book.

In between reading books by this author, I forget how great they are and how much I enjoy them... 🤦♀️
I wish I had time to just sit down and do a marathon read of this series because I just love the characters and the feel of family... and the kids! Con and Micah's snark played off of each other so well that I found myself snorting, laughing, and screaming "are you two idiots, or what" at any given time during the story!
For some reason, I never noticed that I have a couple of the short stories from this series, so if time permits, I intend to go back and read The Date and move on from there. I think it will be interesting to get the "full" stories of a few of the side characters!

Set in the early 90s in LA amongst the height of the AIDS crisis.
Benjamin is a reporter who won the pulitzer prize for a piece he wrote about a couple , one suffering from AIDS. It was later found to be bogus and so he was disgraced.
Now following the death of a young gay, his old editor comes calling for him to mentor an up and coming female reporter to get to the bottom of the death.
An interesting story, no romance, little sex but a well put together mystery.
Will definitely be reading more from the series.

Review:
Really enjoying these later instalments. This one has plenty of action but is 'softer' and more emotional. It doesn't have the full-on crime backdrop but instead set on a property an hour outside Atlanta. I guess its a ranch? Lots of horses and farm/ranch hands anyway :)
The MCs are attracted to each other, with MC Fox wanting to pursue his hope they can be more, whilst MC Bull is a little hesitant fearing Fox's staying ability.
Narration by Aiden Snow - excellent.

Well, it appears that I never followed through and read The 13th Hex, so I am going to be doing that NOW! Ok, maybe tomorrow because we girls are heading out in a few minutes to go see the beautiful Fall leaves in West Virginia!
As for Tom and Cicero? Totally still love them and even though I chose to read this again because I needed it for a Challenge, it was the perfect choice!

Even though I LOVE this author, I have skipped over this series for a long time because... well, there are just so many dang books and only so many hours in the day to read them! *headdesk*
Having finished this book, I am jumping right into Hexmaker and will have to go see if I can get my hands on a copy of The 13th Hex to read Rook and Dominic's story! As usual, with Ms. Hawk, the world-building was phenomenal and the characters just blew me away! Already, I can see that I will be disappointed to see the end of this series and I have just begun! :(
As for Tom and Cicero? Tom was nothing short of adorable, but I have to admit... Cicero stole the show! This book was as close to perfection (for me) as I could hope to get, I wouldn't change a thing! Although, my one complaint (since I can't seem to let this go)... I'm not crazy about the cover... it didn't ring true to the story. Yeah, that totally wasn't a deal-breaker for me! ;p

This book picks up where the last one left off.
I liked the fact that there was no drama or angst even though they had to deal with Jameson's sister Amy.

I had to go back and read the ending of book one so I could be prepared for book two and I'm glad I did. Brought Jameson and Ryan's beginning right back up! I love these two. I thought Amy was going to turn out to be a giant hurdle but she turned into a blip. They still had their issues but seem to be working them out. Really enjoyed their story.

I really enjoy this author's writing. It's not for everyone but definitely works for me. Mads and Anthony had a thing kinda before the book started. We met them in the first book so it was fun to see their story. Mads gave Anthony quite the run around and Anthony gave Mads the same. Fun story, some schmoopy parts but overall a good read.

Review:
I found the MCs were just too erratic and irrational on their expectations, particularly MC Ford's attitude toward MC Dana. That's the main reason for my average rating. I enjoy the secondary characters interaction, but I have to admit to prefer the Nothing Special series.
Narrated by Aiden Snow - his voice owns this series and narrates it so well!

Usually with Alice Winters books I spend the majority of the read lol. During this book I did smile a few times and really loved Iya but there wasn't really any lol moments for me.
That said, I did enjoy the story, the way the over 300 year relationship between Miles and Havoc moves on and there are some cute asides between the two.
I am going to continue with the series as I loved the secondary cast of characters and can't wait to see if anything happens with Iya and Sam.

I was really looking forward to the stories of the rest of "the collective". And this installment didn't disappoint. Dex is just so clueless and sweet while Tripp is well aware he's in love with his bff. Loved how these two managed to get themselves in hot water but worked together to figure shit out. And Dex with his "butt-stuff" was just hilarious. Really enjoyed this one.

Love this book. The sassy MC Malachi falls for the man in brown, MC Julian, all set in the Dead Letter Office in Sydney. Twink and low key daddy figure, zero angst, zero role playing but lots of innuendo and fun. The 'mystery' surrounding the letters was a lovely backdrop to their story.

Review:
For some strange reason, I rarely give the first book in a series 5-stars, but I am making an exception with this one! Colt and Linden might be complete opposites in many ways, but at the end of the day, they are perfect for each other. Even though there was much drama from Colt's family and much heartache from Linden's pack we got the feeling of family from both sides... eventually!
I am very much looking forward to continuing this series as I have become quite attached to the members of the Grove Pack and need to see them find their HEA also!

I felt like I should have know more only to figure out it was a spin-off of the "Irresistible Omegas" series which I haven't finished. I didn't feel too lost but I wish I had finished that one first. Interesting dynamic between a dragon and a wolf, both alphas. Their beliefs were so different but they made things work. We'll see how they go in the rest of the series but this was a good start.

A DC based journalist goes to a Virginia wolf pack to see why they are coping so well with a disease that affects Omegas. There he meets a sweater vest wearing s9oon to be Alpha and a whole host of secondary characters, who like Skye and Brook are cute.
I enjoyed Linden and Colt's relationship and how really Colt kickstarted it with asking Linden to help him through his heat.
