I don't think I've ever given a Sloane Kennedy book three stars before but this one just didn't do it for me at all. The story should have made me have all the feels but I didn't feel anything. Sure, I felt bad for the guys but I didn't feel it. It was okay but just not what I was expecting.

Review:
I love easy rom-coms and this book is literally a rom-com about rom-coms. The MCs are so well suited. And despite how frustratingly long it takes MC Harlow to open his eyes and see what's in front of his face, it helps that the reader knows that MC Teddy really does understand his best friend.
Narrated by Nick J Russo - excellent.

An enjoyable mystery which kept me guessing to the end, although it did come as a bit of a surprise as to the guilty party.
I think I am going to enjoy this series.

Review:
I can see that these two would probably have never made it as a couple back when they were young. Too many issues to deal with for each of them! Khi needed to get out and find a place that was anywhere that wasn't where he was at and Dre needed to come to terms with making the jump to becoming his true self while dealing with extremely religious, homophobic parents. These things are hard enough for adults to overcome, but for teenagers? Yeah, the decade or so that passed and then brought them back to a point that it was "their" time allowed for much-needed acceptance and growth!
The "series" epilogue was not expected but much appreciated. It definitely gave the series a sense of completion!

I enjoyed the story of these 2 men. However a cabin with no indoor plumbing, heating or more importantly wifi isnt my idea of heaven.

Wow, wow, wow. I was not expecting this book to be so good. I love going into a book with zero expectation and being so pleasantly surprised. Luca's an escort, Ethan is a professional hockey player. Ethan is horribly lonely and a teammate recommends the service. Once Ethan sees him, it's over. What starts out pretty promising ends up being everything. Man, this was just so good.

I liked this one more than the first one. The story moved along pretty smoothly, but the sex talk bordered on just sad. Kind of stilted and very unsexy. I did really like both MCs and it was an entertaining read. I agree with others about the ending foursome sex scene. It didn't go all the way, but still too far for me. It was not necessary and felt icky.
