I must admit it I am a fan of the Number Games but none of my friends have read it. It's good I think, but when I think a out it I've read better (The Mara Dyer trilogy for example)

Kat Oh my god, oh my god...
Just read Chapter 1 of Glass Sword. And... it just brought back all the emotions I felt in Red Queen. The ending of that chapter... I want more already! *cries*
The chapter reminded me just how much I like her writing.
I want Cal and Mare together :D

Katrina♡•• texthttp://www.mtv.com/news/2285144/glass... hey this is the link to read chapter one.

IKR... I just hope my library gets it when it comes out. That's how I read Red Queen... I'm not allowed to buy books. But yes, can't wait!

message 358: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Yes, at the moment my library is awful, they're not very up to date with new books

message 359: by [deleted user] (new)

I use the school library but im leaving soon. its like yhe only decent library in the world

message 360: by Kat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kat I live pretty close to a library, but it's not very big... but thank god it is there because I wouldn't be able to live without it...

message 361: by [deleted user] (new)

How can you not buy books?! I feel so sorry for you.

message 362: by Kat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kat Well, physical books are pretty expensive in Australia, and ebooks are quite cheap though... but I'm not meant to be on the computer too much and that is where I read them because I don't have a separate e-reader and my phone is absolutely useless... and my parents get really suspicious about it all when I'm reading... they don't get it. Buying ebooks means credit card which means have to ask parents to which they'll say no... because they're like why are you wasting money on books just go to your library... but my library doesn't have that much and they don't understand. The don't disapprove but they don't really approve either. So yeah. *sigh*

message 363: by Kat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kat BUT... when I do get a job and earn my own money, I'll be buying books then :D

message 364: by [deleted user] (new)

That sucks! I work occasionally and when I do I spend it all on books. I dobt have a social life!

message 365: by Kat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kat I don't either... :)
I'm reading books all the time. And I'm not allowed to have FB or Twitter etc. but I don't really mind.
I used to read every day at lunchtime in primary school... those were the good ol' days ;)

message 366: by [deleted user] (new)

That sucks but its not bad either. I go on FB and twitter too much

message 367: by Kat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kat Tabitha wrote: "That sucks but its not bad either. I go on FB and twitter too much"

My friends say they go on a lot but they can't not... :D

message 368: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah. It is bad

message 369: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor I have neither FB or Twitter, and I don't really mind tbh. I think the Internet (especially GR) takes over my time way too much, when I should be reading. Say for example, I have a new copy of Half Bad begging to be read, but I'm just here, ignoring it XD.
And MB, I kind of get what you're talking about. England gets books really cheap while Ireland has to pay a bit more, but Austalia is really expensive. The country prices are always on the back of my books, haha.

message 370: by [deleted user] (new)

XD
I recommend you don't get Facebook not because its bad but you spend too much time on it.
Half Bad is REALLY good by the way

message 371: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor I'm reading it now, and I'm liking it so far. I just looked up the pricing of Australian books, and the can reach up to 32 dollars !! That is way too much to pay for a book.

message 372: by [deleted user] (new)

That seems like a load! I suck at currency (even though I'm annoying good at maths that I get forced to do it (little rant over)) but how would they charge so much?! What else can you do?!

message 373: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Yes I know !! it's practically robbery. I'm crap at maths (okay, I'm not bad but I'm not amazing) and even that is clearly too much to pay for a book.

message 374: by [deleted user] (new)

I understand authors wanting to make a living, but they don't get much of it! They only get 10% or something. It's the publishers that get the money!!

message 375: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Exactly ! I love writing but it's only a hobby for me. I think that the publishers
are very, very greedy when it comes to the money. It's not fair for the buyers :p

message 376: by [deleted user] (new)

Or the authors! They do the most work yet they get the less money!

message 377: by Taylor (last edited Oct 01, 2015 02:06PM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor It's not fair. Authors are very hardworking people, they have to think out the characters, yet they get paid way less.
I'm really weird, but I have a favourite publisher. It's either Penguin, Harper Collins or Bloomsbury. Orion is ok too.
But I never judge a book by its publisher (lol) but I just have favourites for some reasons.

message 378: by [deleted user] (new)

I like anything Harper Collins and Electric Monkey

Katrina♡•• In my country $70 is for average YA which is really expensive =\

message 380: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Oh yes Electric Monkey is also good.
And Kisses A, that's a lot of money !! I love books but paying 70 dollars would take a huge chunk out of my money.

Katrina♡•• Yeah. I usually borrow from the library, read it as an eBook or buy it on Amazon.

message 382: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor My parents keep annoying me and saying that I should get a ebook, but I only ever read one book from it. The library is good, but usually they don't have much updated books.
It's mean how they're charging so much.

message 383: by [deleted user] (new)

I feel really bad because I use all three. I have over 150 books, a kindle with about 200 books in and the library. I do get most of my books from 2nd hand shops though.

message 384: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor No need to apologise Tabitha, we've all been there.
I have a few books from charity stores, but I do love brand new shiny easons and waterstones books.

message 385: by [deleted user] (new)

That is true. I really like new books! I don't like cracking then spines but when it's new it's all straight.

message 386: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor And when the cover shines *sighs dreamily*

message 387: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh... the joys of the untouched cover *cue angels singing*

message 388: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Back to Red Queen !
Does anyone else think that Maven will turn out to be good ? That would be AWESOME !!

message 389: by Kat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kat That totally would be; but I don't know... he was really evil and I-shall-kill-you so *shrugs*

message 390: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor I know. I love Cal but Maven is just so appealing to me.

message 391: by Katrina♡•• (last edited Oct 03, 2015 03:09PM) (new) - rated it 5 stars

Katrina♡•• I was reading chapter one and I am shocked that Mareis is even considering to feel sorry for Marven

"The thought chills my blood like a Silver shiver’s touch. As much as Maven lied to me, I still know a small piece of his heart. I remember him grabbing me through the bars of a cell, holding on with shaking fingers. And I remember the name he carries, the name that reminds me a heart still beats inside him. His name was Thomas and I watched him die. He could not save that boy. But he can save me, in his own twisted way.

No. I will never give him the satisfaction of such a thing. I would rather die.

But try as I might, I can’t forget the shadow I thought him to be, the lost and forgotten prince. I wish that person were real. I wish he existed somewhere other than my memories."

message 392: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Oh my gosh, I know !! As much as i love Maven, I didn't think Mare would think that. Especially since in the very last line of Red Queen she stated that she will kill the king.

Katrina♡•• I was also surprised (does a happy dance) I think if Marven does start to get good Mare may forgive him but he will have to really prove himself.

message 394: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Yeah. But what about Cal ? If there is a love triangle I will....
Ugh I hate love triangles.

Katrina♡•• I think Aveyard knows what she is doing. Is this a 5 or 4 book series?

message 396: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor It's a trilogy : )

message 397: by [deleted user] (new)

It's been turned into 4books!

message 398: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Oh wait what ?!! How come ? I thought it was just 3
*starts grinning happily*

message 399: by [deleted user] (new)

The news was released a few weeks back. She was outlining it and contracted the publishers saying she would need another book for it to finish and they signed her another book deal with it.

message 400: by Taylor (new) - rated it 4 stars

Taylor Yayyyyyyyyy
