I must admit it I am a fan of the Number Games but none of my friends have read it. It's good I think, but when I think a out it I've read better (The Mara Dyer trilogy for example)

Oh my god, oh my god...Just read Chapter 1 of Glass Sword. And... it just brought back all the emotions I felt in Red Queen. The ending of that chapter... I want more already! *cries*
The chapter reminded me just how much I like her writing.
I want Cal and Mare together :D
MB I am so impatient !! I've already pre-ordered mine, but I just want it now !! Haha, guees we have to wait until Feb.

I use the school library but im leaving soon. its like yhe only decent library in the world
I live pretty close to a library, but it's not very big... but thank god it is there because I wouldn't be able to live without it...
How can you not buy books?! I feel so sorry for you.
Well, physical books are pretty expensive in Australia, and ebooks are quite cheap though... but I'm not meant to be on the computer too much and that is where I read them because I don't have a separate e-reader and my phone is absolutely useless... and my parents get really suspicious about it all when I'm reading... they don't get it. Buying ebooks means credit card which means have to ask parents to which they'll say no... because they're like why are you wasting money on books just go to your library... but my library doesn't have that much and they don't understand. The don't disapprove but they don't really approve either. So yeah. *sigh*
That sucks! I work occasionally and when I do I spend it all on books. I dobt have a social life!
I don't either... :)I'm reading books all the time. And I'm not allowed to have FB or Twitter etc. but I don't really mind.
I used to read every day at lunchtime in primary school... those were the good ol' days ;)
That sucks but its not bad either. I go on FB and twitter too much

I have neither FB or Twitter, and I don't really mind tbh. I think the Internet (especially GR) takes over my time way too much, when I should be reading. Say for example, I have a new copy of Half Bad begging to be read, but I'm just here, ignoring it XD. And MB, I kind of get what you're talking about. England gets books really cheap while Ireland has to pay a bit more, but Austalia is really expensive. The country prices are always on the back of my books, haha.
XD
I recommend you don't get Facebook not because its bad but you spend too much time on it.
Half Bad is REALLY good by the way

I'm reading it now, and I'm liking it so far. I just looked up the pricing of Australian books, and the can reach up to 32 dollars !! That is way too much to pay for a book.
That seems like a load! I suck at currency (even though I'm annoying good at maths that I get forced to do it (little rant over)) but how would they charge so much?! What else can you do?!
Yes I know !! it's practically robbery. I'm crap at maths (okay, I'm not bad but I'm not amazing) and even that is clearly too much to pay for a book.
I understand authors wanting to make a living, but they don't get much of it! They only get 10% or something. It's the publishers that get the money!!
Exactly ! I love writing but it's only a hobby for me. I think that the publishers are very, very greedy when it comes to the money. It's not fair for the buyers :p
Or the authors! They do the most work yet they get the less money!
It's not fair. Authors are very hardworking people, they have to think out the characters, yet they get paid way less. I'm really weird, but I have a favourite publisher. It's either Penguin, Harper Collins or Bloomsbury. Orion is ok too.
But I never judge a book by its publisher (lol) but I just have favourites for some reasons.
I like anything Harper Collins and Electric Monkey
Oh yes Electric Monkey is also good. And Kisses A, that's a lot of money !! I love books but paying 70 dollars would take a huge chunk out of my money.
My parents keep annoying me and saying that I should get a ebook, but I only ever read one book from it. The library is good, but usually they don't have much updated books. It's mean how they're charging so much.
I feel really bad because I use all three. I have over 150 books, a kindle with about 200 books in and the library. I do get most of my books from 2nd hand shops though.
No need to apologise Tabitha, we've all been there. I have a few books from charity stores, but I do love brand new shiny easons and waterstones books.
That is true. I really like new books! I don't like cracking then spines but when it's new it's all straight.
Oh... the joys of the untouched cover *cue angels singing*
Back to Red Queen ! Does anyone else think that Maven will turn out to be good ? That would be AWESOME !!
I was reading chapter one and I am shocked that Mareis is even considering to feel sorry for Marven"The thought chills my blood like a Silver shiver’s touch. As much as Maven lied to me, I still know a small piece of his heart. I remember him grabbing me through the bars of a cell, holding on with shaking fingers. And I remember the name he carries, the name that reminds me a heart still beats inside him. His name was Thomas and I watched him die. He could not save that boy. But he can save me, in his own twisted way.
No. I will never give him the satisfaction of such a thing. I would rather die.
But try as I might, I can’t forget the shadow I thought him to be, the lost and forgotten prince. I wish that person were real. I wish he existed somewhere other than my memories."
Oh my gosh, I know !! As much as i love Maven, I didn't think Mare would think that. Especially since in the very last line of Red Queen she stated that she will kill the king.
I was also surprised (does a happy dance) I think if Marven does start to get good Mare may forgive him but he will have to really prove himself.
It's been turned into 4books!
The news was released a few weeks back. She was outlining it and contracted the publishers saying she would need another book for it to finish and they signed her another book deal with it.
