Maven or Cal???
^ UM I MEANT MAVEN AND CAL BOTH. Not Mare and Cal both ;)
CAL!!! He's kinda like Warner from Shatter me!
i liked them both in the beginning but then Maven's betrayal broke my heart. Marven could have happened and it would have been so sweet, i was actually fooled into thinking that he was the sweet teenager, but i was wrong.

I'm totally team Cal! I know that Maven was really sweet and cute at first but then he did... [I won't say in case you're still reading] but I've always liked Cal more because he just seemed much more attractive.

NO. Maven freaking has mommy and daddy issues that makes him do shitty things. Like I don't know. Kill his father, frame his brother, lie to an enslaved race trying to rebel to save their enslaved race, then kill the girl he supposedly "loves" but how do we know cause he's been lying this whole time, and then kill his own brother who's been on his side the whole time.
Warner was a dick. But he was a low key balanced person.
Maven is just out of control.

Not that I like Mare all that much because she didn't take responsibility for a lot of the things she did but I wouldn't mind it if a freaking love octagon came up or if she ended up with Cal, Kilorn, or just no one because she is a woman who don't need no man.

MAREVEN! MAREVEN! MAREVAN! I still love him so much and it would be so amazingly fantastic if he changed just for Mare and so romantic. I don't like Cal and Mare because it so typical romance story. The girl falls for the strong handsome male. It would be so interesting for once if the main character fall in love with the bad guy and changes him because he also loves her so much. I just think that would be a more interesting and non-typical way to go so this doesn't end up like a typical romance like the Vampire Academy series or the Mortal Instrument series or the Shadow Falls series. I loved all those books but the romances never really pulled at my heart because the girl always fell for the strong badass male and never the nice sensitive guy which I feel I would go for if I were in their situation. I know many people think Maven is a psychopath but if you pull all the layers away you see a boy who was living in the shadow of his brother his whole life, knowing his father favored his brother and also the fact that his mother is a controlling psycho. With his fathers neglect it probably wasn't hard for his mother, the only parent who showed him love, to manipulate him into believing that this was the best option. So I still have hope for Maven and I believe that he can change and that Mare will remember all the good in him and bring him back to being our sweet romantic Maven.

Cal ALL THE WAY. He's so good for Mare, and they had real chemistry. Whereas Maven is a greedy little monster. I was so happy towards the end when they ended up together even if it wasn't romantic. This love triangle reminds me SO MUCH of the TVD love triangle with Stelena and Delena. I know, different things, people. My point is, I don't care if the chemistry is a cliche fairytale, bc she's a RED QUEEN. And honestly, I think Maven will only get more power drunk and in the Glass Sword he'll become the villain.
I wasn't really a fan of Cal. I loved Maven so much though. I was so shocked when he turned out to be the villain of the story.
I think that most people love Cal (Including me) be side of what Maven did. I mean before hand I liked him but I still loved Cal more. The event just made me hate Maven.
I feel like Maven lost his chance. He is not just a 'bad boy' type anymore, he is the guy that betrayed Mare, he plotted to have his father murder, and blamed his brother for it. Mare trusted him the most, and he manipulated her the whole time. That said, I am not sure what Cal and Mare's chances for ending up together are.

If Maven is being controlled then there is a small chance I might ship him with Mare, but for now it's Cal.
Maven !!! (Though he's a *censored* towards the end) I think that him and Mare would be great together if he somehow gets his sh!t together. But Mare did say that she will kill him, I don't feel like this ship will be canon. I like Cal, but Maven forever !

Yeah, I don't think that Mare will be able to trust Maven anymore after all he's done, but as ppl are saying maybe Elara was controlling him. I have a funny feeling that Mare and Cal will be canon as much as I love Maven :(

I don't know WHAT Victoria will have in store for us, but judging from how she worked through that huge betrayal (I should have saw it coming, it was too good to be true for a prince to join a rebellion against the royal family and Silvers) but I didn't. I hope they don't kill Cal, 'cause I really like him, but it's so unpredictable.

I don't get why people would say cal bcoz cal kissed his brothers fiancé... wheres the brotherly love? anyways its totally understandable as to why maven did that!!! so mare and maven are the BEST COUPLE and if not then I would suffice with kilorn but just not cal!!

Sure Maven wasn't the one forcing Cal to kill their father- a father whom Cal loved dearly-, but Maven is just as guilty as his mother.

Ok, if Elara isn't controlling him or brainwashing him, I am so done with Maven. Seriously, I ship him and Mare, but if that was in his own free will-- killing his father, betraying his brother and betrothed, sending them into an arena, then I have no hope for him,

So I'm torn. I don't really care who Mare ends up with because I love Mare and Cal both. But as the story progresses maybe I'll change my mind. WHO KNOWS! IM PUMPED FOR THE NEXT BOOK (even though 1 year is wayyy too long)!!!!
