I can't wait I can't wait I can't wait! This discussion is making me want to read glass sword so bad right now. Also I have no idea what to read now. :(
Have you ever read Throne of Glass ? AMAZING series, highly recommend. Also I picked up The Young Elites today and read a few pages and it looks brilliant . It grasps your attention within the first sentence.
I condone! Throne of Glass is amazing and everyone should read it!

In all honesty name a few things that you like from Cal, Maven and Kilorns personality!
Cal - I honsestly can't think of anything... I would have said loyal but he kissed his brother's fiancé. Smart.Cal - cute and adorkable, alluring and messed up (yup, I find that strangely attractive).
Kilorn - fighter, persistent.
I like Cal but I can't think of anything good ATM ;p
I felt Maven was the most developed character and him getting the girl will break the stereotypical cycle of girl ending up with the first guy she developed a crush on.. Frankly, I thought Cal was pretty boring nonetheless.. Maven on the other hand has infinite potential though I can already see this novel going the typical route.
I mean, there is no way this book is going the maven way.. It's as clear as day : (

i am not going to even answer this question simply because i don't know if i can trust either of these two characters
@Rama, I think your onto something, because Maven we know is evil but is Cal as good as he looks to be...
Oh you are right..... Imagine if Cal turns on everyone and Marven has to be the one to save the day... Of course this would happen in book 4 or something..
Definitely Cal. Even though he seems tough, there's a softer side inside him. Maven betrayed them!!

I forget what his full name is .... I think I might have to re read Red Queen before starting Glass Sword. I'm Switzerland because I'm neutral
@EmanuelVisele his full is Tibaries Calore VII, but his mom nicknamed him Cal because she wanted him to be different and changed the history of the fire of destruction the House of Calore bring and well I guess his dad liked tok so Cal has stuck!
OK, who wants Mare to end up with NO one and be a strong, independent female character?

I'm thinking strong and independent is good, but I have a feeling Sarah J Maas will do that with ToG

Being a strong female character is badass and she already sort if is, but when she brings this change into her world she won't be queen by herself, she'll need a king...so...

She'll probably be reluctant but then I'm guessing everyone will probably convince her, to be honest I love Maven but I have this feeling that when the war ends Cal will make Mare his queen so the two races will bring everlasting peace like his mother wanted for him...sorry guys...but again this is all just assumptions, after I read glass sword I may change my guess...what is Rowan!!???

Haha. I read it on holiday and I was sat upside down on a chair and fell off when I did a mini-dance and my mother and sister looked at me like Km crazy
