I really enjoyed reading about Lucien's history. If you enjoyed The Jewel you should read this novella.

42. A book that features two languages: Crying in H Mart Zauner's memoir is written in English and features frequent words and phrases in Korean. It also has a plethora of reference to Korean ingredients and dishes.

Somehow, I have gotten off count. This is #47/50 for the Anisfield Wolf award winner.

This would also work for a social horror or a book published this year. I liked it, but the ending was a bit weird...........

36. A book you know nothing about: . Bird Summons This was a grab from the library bookshelf highlighting fiction. I was drawn in by the title and lovely cover.
