Maia Kobabe is a graduate of the Comics MFA program at California College of the Arts. Maia is the author/illustrator of GENDER QUEER: A MEMOIR, due out from Lion Forge in May 2019, as well as the short comic Tom o'Bedlam, which was accepted into the 2016 Society of Illustrators Comic and Cartoon Art Annual and nominated for an Ignatz award. Maia Kobabe is non-binary, queer and uses e/em/eir pronouns.
