This seems an odd request, I'm having trouble looking for a book with an X author, there are lots but I can't find that matches my reading taste. Is it okay if I look for an author that has an 'X' on their first or last name?

Alyana, I peeked at your profile and your Read shelf, and didn't see Olga Dies Dreaming by Xóchitl González. Readers here have given this debut a 4.02 rating, so it might be worth a try.

I already read something else for the X before discovering this one. First names beginning with X are difficult to find in a search, so I hope this helps. If not, you could always reduce your goal. Either way, happy reading!

TerryJane kindly suggested an X book to you but, just for the record, you can use a book by an author who's given, middle (or middle initial), or family name begins with the letter concerned.

Patricia, only the author's first, middle, or last name initials count for this challenge. Since oshizu has stepped down as moderator, I will now be updating this challenge, and wanted to share my suggestions.

Judy Blume does not count for the letter U, but could be moved to B.

Rainbow Rowell does not fit for A, and Alice Oseman does not fit for L. However, you can move Alice Oseman to either A or O.

Robin Stevens does not fit for O, but could be moved to S, and Shanon Hale which is currently listed for S, can be moved to H.

As you read more books, you might find you need to swap books around, and that's perfectly fine as long as you only use the author's initials. For example, if you read a different book whose author has a K initial, you could move Kevin Panetta to P.

You may use either Rainbow Rowell or Rick Riordan for the R, but neither will fit anywhere else, so your total progress will be 13/26.
