KOMET | 870 comments Yesterday, I finished reading the novel "A Gilded Lady" by Elizabeth Camden.

A Gilded Lady (Hope and Glory, #2) by Elizabeth Camden

This is a novel centered on the lives of 2 people in Washington DC (Nathaniel Trask, who works for the Treasury Department and Caroline Delacroix, who is a secretary to the First Lady) from vastly different backgrounds who work in the White House during the McKinley Administration (1900 to 1901) and the traumatic and seismic events that challenge them and yet help to forge a strong bond between them.

Arch | 80 comments I have forced myself to finished this book Killer Instincts (Assassins in Love #1) by Tawna Fenske , because I wanted to see how much more similarities there were between Tawna’s hero and heroine to my hero and heroine from my 13 years ongoing story Trespassing. My story Trespassing is posted on Goodreads as a writing challenge story and yes, I am still writing on it, because it is no where finished. My story started in 2010 and Tawna’s story was published on Amazon in 2022. Too bad that I couldn’t have left a review on Amazon, because of their $50.00 policy now. I have been a member of theirs since 1998, but haven’t bought anything from them since 2022. I had gotten her book for free. I did remark on her book on here though.
