I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.

For the birth year one, 91, we have 60, 79, 80, and 87, so I think the latest is 1980s, right?
Task 79: my favorite tropes are friends to lovers or fake relationships.
I have a bunch of both of those, so I'm ok with either. Probably Fake Relationship would be my first pick of those two.
Task 88: car or motorcycle is probably easiest
I would vote motorcycle. I've got a lot of MC books 🤣

Probably the easier one to find books for, so that's fine for me

I'm good with Eloisa James, either as an option for an author task or a series task. I'm current in the Wildes of Lindow Castle series, but the next book comes out the end of this month and I'm planning on reading it sometime in April anyway.
For my author, what do y'all feel like? I could just do Sawyer Bennett or Vi Keeland to make it easy. Or if you want something a bit different, we could do T.S. Joyce, who does all shifter (A nice bonus is that the books are all generally under 200 pages, so they're quick to get through), or Ruby Dixion again if you want Sci-fi. I can't even remember, did we get to Dixon last time?I could also do Jaci Burton. I think her books are all fine. Nothing super knock your socks off, but always good enough.
So maybe do Wildes of Lindow Castle series for number 82? I'm afraid if we do it for 9, the next book won't be out in time for you, Karen. Or we could put her as the author for 51 or 73. Probably will be after April when we get to those.

I don't even know what that is...but then I rarely use most of GR's functions, generally just hang out in the group discussions...

Ok, I had to go to help, and it was the first question in there 🤣. Glad I'm not the only who hates it. If anyone else gets stuck, just click the Beta microphone at the bottom right and then a "Leave Beta" button pops up.Basically, they're changing the book pages so that all you have is the book, and then endless text of community reviews. They've taken off the lists that would show under book, you can't access the tags, there are no similar book recommendations at the top, and the author highlight stuff on the right side of the screen is all the way at the bottom, so you have to scroll forever to see if there are more books in the series or see the other books the author has. I hate it so much!!! Takes all the focus off the actual book and the author, and shifts everything to community reviews. Which honestly, are the things I care least about. I usually only see how my friends rate things anyway.
It just looks like a crappy version of Amazon. It sucks, and it's going to make finding books for challenges much more difficult 🤬.

🤣Yeah, she has some funny names. I stumbled across one of her books for one the challenges, and I thought it was surprisingly good for an author I'd never heard of.
I think we should do her for an author instead of series so everyone can decide between cowboys or military/suspense.

Ugh that is just awful. i'm hoping they are piloting it with a select few people and those people will hate it and not use it. I really don't want that.
