Oh I loved those Nancy Drew mysteries! I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and our little local library had the whole collection - I must have read each of them 5 or more times. Such great memories looking over the books from my childhood.

There was another one I adored too... Trixie Belden, I liked her even better than Nancy Drew :)And the Little House books? Sooooo good! I owned all of them (and I actually still have all my hardcover editions). Whole sections of them I had memorized.

Good luck! I had my second Pfizer shot on Friday and other than being a little extra tired Friday night/early Saturday I seemed to be fine. Hope you are as well!
*sob sob sob*The audio version of Honey from the Lion was simply stunning. Highly recommend if you haven't read/listened to this one yet!

Does the series have to be read in order?
hi Amanda, no they are all completely un related and stand alone - the 1st one was very different... it was excellent too, but I liked this one better
Here is your next task!Task 15 - 101. Read 8 books published in even months and even years.
Book selected for this task need to be initially published in an even month AND an even year. Make sure you use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page, use it. Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format. Books initially published in February 2020 or April 2016 would work, but books initially published in July 2010 or November 2018 would not. Please include the initial publication date in your completion posts.
I hope all goes well with your second vaccine Trio!!We were pretty much like you Amanda after our second one. We both got pretty achy the second night, but mostly it was just the tiredness for a couple of days.

Completion Post - Task 15 - 101. Read 8 books published in even months and even years.
Book 1
O Come, All Ye Kellys by Isla Olsen
Pages: 150
How it qualifies: published in December 2020
Completed: 15th April
Rating: 3 stars
Review:
I really love all the Kelly brothers and their significant others and they all got some fun and some lovely moments in this short story but the constant change of the couple in focus honestly made my head spin and definitely took from my enjoyment. I just prefer a flowing story to this book of snippets.
Book 2
Say You’ll Be Nine by Lucy Lennox
Pages: 274
How it qualifies: published in June 2020
Completed: 15th April
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
I had an awesome time re-listening to this story, perfectly narrated by Michael Dean! Nine (Isaac) and Cooper are amazing together. Fun and sweet!
Completion Post Task 15 (Read 8 books published in even months and even years.)Book 1
Alaska by Cate Ashwood
183 Pages
How it qualifies: Published April 22, 2018
Date: 4/15/2021
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Review: Super cute quick read. Was it a little predictable? Yes, it definitely was, but it was still enjoyable. A nice sweet read to pass the afternoon
Book 2
A Little Sin by Sionnach Wintergreen
166 Pages
How it qualifies: Published February 2018
Date: 4/15/2021
Rating: 3 Stars
Review: I enjoyed the characters and the setting of this book and I overall felt it was wellwritten. However, I think it would've been better had it been a little longer. Trying to fit a full mystery and a romance from start to finish in so few pages takes a lot of skill and this just wasn't quite there and both ended up feeling rush. Definitely will check out other books by this author as I found the writing to be enjoyable

Out to Get You by J.P. Oliver
Length: 193 pages
How it Qualifies: Published December 30, 2018
Read: 4/15/2021
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Review: I'm honestly glad I re-listened to this one, I liked the mystery part better the second time around. Still too much sex, which was way too enthusiastically performed by the narrator.
OMG , im in a right mess , i rely on these notifications to tell me which challenges im in , and now im having to try and remember which geoups they are all in before i can even start to find them.Im sure ive forgotten one 😄
I hear ya J!I ended up using google bookmarks - I've got one main Goodreads folder, then a sub folder for each challenge, and the most important links saved in each sub folder. Otherwise I'd never be able to keep track.
Finished 2 books , although i dont know how as spent most of my time recently scouring all the groups to.see if any notifications for challenges 🙄🙄🙄..hopefully it will get better soon
I'll be last to finish - my second book is actually a re-listen because I forgot to write the review when I finished it and can't remember the details bc it was so long ago now.
Ok then, in that case i suppose id best start my pass the parcel book otherwise my captain will be moaning 😄😄😄😄
Janeylou wrote: "Ok then, in that case i suppose id best start my pass the parcel book otherwise my captain will be moaning 😄😄😄😄"Oh yeah, I heard she's a complete dictator 🤣. She definitely does not forget about that challenge a lot...
