Sign ups are open for another week ..this year they trying to split the teams into those who want to play for fun and those who want to win https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
Join up Trio...we can all discuss our choices 😁
okay I'll give it another shot J, to be completely honest my issue the few times I did it was the arbitrary rulings - poor Lisa, I don't blame her at all bc it was a nightmare. I'm sure they've got stuff ironed out at this point.

now that I signed up I'm getting excited! the fun of the hunt (or even better just happening across an item) is a lot of fun.
I've been holding off on some non MM books I couldn't use for Spell. I'm looking forward to reading them now.
I'm excited for the hunt now too! It's my first time playing this challenge. 🤩I'm a bit afraid that I either won't find anything or to be this fixated on looking for the items that I actually miss important plot parts. 😅🙈
Caipi, i cant beleive youve not played before ..ive always been quite competitive when ive played , but this time im on the fun side so it will be interesting to see if i can actually post a book that only has 20 points or if i back out 😄😄😄

Fingers crossed that you'll be able to play it laid-back this time and I'll be able to keep up at all.... 😂😂🤞🏻
Today has been the MOST MONDAY to ever monday, so I'm really looking forward to the call later!!We know I literally cannot help myself to speed through things, but I am totally good with it being overall more casual this time around.
ETA: LOL My computer did not add all the comments so my second comment was too an earlier convo. Ignore me, I was so rushed I missed out on caffeine today

If you're like me and have the memory of a fruit fly you can do all your searching before you read the book and not worry about spoilers 😂
yes, wow you remember. Lucy had pneumonia and it took a solid month till she was fully recovered. she was only 4 pounds then. she's 11 pounds now and almost 10 months old. I've got a 3-1/2 year old too called Pepper, they're both Cavalier King Charles spaniels.

He's a lot! He's so adorable but I just absolutely forgot how much work a puppy is. Luckily my older dog now loves him and plays with him all the time (which is great because she's put on some serious weight since we've been at home all the time lol). And his name is CJ, which stands for Corey Jr (My husband's name 😂). We have an agreement that I get to name children and he gets to name pets and he knows I will never choose a Jr so he used it for the dog lol

oh lol when my husband and I first moved in together in NYC we adopted a cat from the ASPCA, and the poor thing had been returned too many times so they said if we didn't keep him they'd have to put him down.... well it turned out he was 1/2 ocelot (can you imagine) so he was crazy - tearing up our little one bedroom apartment - but he was a spectacular catand the reason I'm telling you all that is because I named him DC (for David's Cat) for my husband lol

Kat must have heard me ...With St. Patricks Day coming up, everyone is Irish! As a team select whether you are going to read books set in Ireland OR books with an Irish character OR books with a primarily green cover. Each teammate must read a book that fits the qualification selected, no pass for this task
Please include the team selected qualification in your completion posts. Remember you need to include how you know your book qualifies! I need to know where to look to confirm your book, include any info or links as necessary. If choosing the primarily green cover, it needs to be over 50% green to be accepted. Don’t forget to use the first edition Kindle page count
Im going to sugguest green cover as it will be easier than the other 2 , but easy going mm green covers
Caipi , its probably one of the few times we'll be first to the task so lets make an executive decision on green covers 😄😄
Janeylou wrote: "Caipi , its probably one of the few times we'll be first to the task so lets make an executive decision on green covers 😄😄"Perfect! 😅
I'm going to read
. Will post my correct selection post tomorrow morning. Good night...... 😴
One that I didn't realize was green until I read it for uno is Cutie and the Beast (I think it's the audio book), if anyones looking!I'll have to do some searching, but will have it done by tomorrow probably as I purposefully held off reading today lol
I want to read A Private Gentleman but don't want to buy it so hopefully someone will respond to my request to lend! (I will buy it if need be I just filed my taxes though so I'm feeling poor lol)
Ooh this was another good one I read recently that works for green covers (I know 2 of you already chose but just throwing it out there):The Frogman and the Spy
Selection Post Task 1 (Team Decided on Green Cover)
A Private Gentleman by Heidi Cullinan

How it qualifies:
--this cover is 60.9% green per tineye

no idea why I'm making more out of this than I need to, but I'm having a dickens of a time picking a green cover - I put a few up on the Q&A thread for Kat's approval.
Ever since the last round of bachelor where I had two books not be black enough color covers are so hard for me!
Amanda wrote: "Ever since the last round of bachelor where I had two books not be black enough color covers are so hard for me!"YES - I keep second guessing myself

Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
This is the thing that i always get confused with as all groups seem to have different rules
