Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo!

Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week

Review:

A slow burn romance between Summer, a southern belle eager to escape the small town that turned its back on her, and Cole, a famous actor in the middle of a divorce that blindsided him.

Summer has been helping the location scout for Cole's upcoming film and is hoping to get another small but well paying job in the movie, when Cole arrives at her doorstep before he is expected.

She takes an immediate dislike to him, quickly getting over the hero worship Cole's become accustomed to, but doesn't hesitate to accept the offer to take up the role of his co-star that seems written for her.

Sparks fly between them and the animosity turns into heat, both in front of and behind the cameras, but they both have reasons to be reluctant to start a relationship after what they've been through. (view spoiler)[Cole is still reeling from the betrayal of a wife he thought he loved, while Summer is focused on leaving the criticism of all the upper crust townspeople who can't seem to forget her revenge on her bridal party during her dinner rehearsal, after she discovered that everyone knew that her fiance had been cheating on her. No matter how much they resist, they seem to be made for one another and bring the best in each other and a happily ever after for them seems inevitable.

Enjoyable story that continues in the short story Sole, that is an extended epilogue of sorts if I'm not mistaken.

It is my first time. I didn't love the first book. Although I really like Kate and the world is very interesting, I'm not a big fan of shifters and all the alpha crap, so it's taken me awhile to get to book 2. :D

My first read through I marked books 1 and 2 with only 3 stars. I upped them to 4 stars on the second read through, mostly because I understood the world a lot more then. And I've re-read the series at least 3 times now. I think it gets more interesting when Kate stops being such a loner.

I had trouble getting into the first book too and although I'd liked it enough when I finally finished it, I didn't love the series until the third, which is still one of my favorites. After that I read the rest in one sitting and then was waiting impatiently for the next book... Just an FYI, the series does not disappoint like many others do after a few books. ;)

Almost everyone says that the first couple of books are just okay, so I've always planned to give it a fair shot. However, it's hard to get enthusiastic when you know that. I'm enjoying the mystery so far, but it's been all Kate, Curran is about to show up, so we'll see how it goes after that. :D

review: Addison helps mayoral candidate Elijah escape after he is left at the alter by her cousin. Addison's side of the family is the black sheep and she has issues because of this. She is also grieving her grandmother and taken over her Christmas business.

Elijah has never been able to just be normal around anyone until now and he wants to preserve his friendship with Addison, but then sex happens and things get confusing.

I really liked their friendship, but the dirty talk sex scenes didn't work for me and their communication issues were annoying.

Review: I definitely liked this book better than the first, darn close to 4 stars for me. Still not a huge fan of shifters and the whole pack mentality in general, but I really like Kate and her world. It's fascinating, I don't completely understand it and there's so much more to learn. Kate's a fantastic badass hero and I was a little frightened that she'd suddenly desperately want to be a mother, like every single woman in fiction, but we dodged that bullet and I'm looking forward to the next book very much.
