Last year I read 71 books so I'm aiming to 70 this year.

1. Kale - Rautakansleri by Jari Korkki.

The first half was better than the second half. If you don't like hockey (or sport in general) this probably isn't for you but I liked it.

2. Castle Richmond by Anthony Trollope.

My first book from him and I wasn't a big fan.

3. Pakenija by Marcel Proust.

It's the second last book from "In Search of Lost Time" and one of my favorites from the serie. I've been reading this serie about couple years now and it will be sad when it ends.

4. Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.

I'm huge fan of him and I love his poetry. This one is definitely my favorite, you can read it many times and every time find something new.

5. Warning: When I am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple by Jenny Joseph.

I really liked this short poem and especially the illustration. Now I want to read more of hers poetry.

6. Mansfield Park by Jane Austen.

Not my favorite from her but it was still good. I need to read Sense and Sensibility this year.

7. Pastoralia by George Saunders.

My first time reading him and I felt in love. I don't usually read these kind of books but it was really interesting and different. I already want to read more of him.

8. Muumilaakson marraskuu by Tove Jansson.

I love Tove Jansson and this one is definitely my favorite, even it is the most melancholy one. Or maybe because of it :D I've been rereading Moomins books by the past couple years and I enjoy them everytime.

9. Life Is a Caravanserai by Emine Sevgi Özdamar.

10. The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo.

I liked it more than I thought. I really want to read more of him. Les Misérables is on my tbr list but I think I'm going to leave that for later.

11. Reuhurinne 1 by Tuula Kallioniemi.

I remember reading these when I was a kid. I like the humor and illustrations.

12. Burmese Days by George Orwell.

5 stars. This was one of the first books by him and little different than his other books I've read (Animal Farm and 1984) Great book.

13. Home by Marilynne Robinson.

I really liked this book. I will return to it in the future.

14. Muumipeikko ja pyrstötähti by Tove Jansson.

15. Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.

16. Rajanaapuri by Roope Lipasti.

One minute I was enjoying it, the next, I was hating it. The humor was nice in some parts but the main character was so annoying I couldn't really enjoy this book.

17. The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

It was easy to read and I liked the end but I thought it was quite pretentious. It didn't make me want to read her other books.

18. The Morning Shanai: 20 Poems of Kazi Nazrul Islam by Kazi Nazrul Islam.

19. Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewicz.

20. Arcanum 17: With Apertures by André Breton.

I liked the poetry parts but otherwise I wasn't a big fan.

21. Vaarallinen juhannus by Tove Jansson.

A reread that I really love. This one always makes me happy and it's different than the other Moomin books I like.

22. The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad.

23. Kirjeitä jotka mullistivat maailmaa by Shaun Usher.

I really liked this one, awesome letters. You will laugh and cry while reading them.

24. Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence.

25. Me Rosvolat by Siri Kolu.

I liked this one. Great humor and a lot was happening. It made you smile and want to read more. I recommend this one to everyone, not just to young adults.

26. Jälleenlöydetty aika by Marcel Proust.

I've been reading this series for the past three years and finally finished it. I was little scared to start this serie because it's so long but I'm happy I did. I enjoyed it a lot and will definitely reread it at some point.

27. Ella ja kiristäjä by Timo Parvela.

28. Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood.

Interesting story. This is my second book from Atwood and I really like her style of writing. I didn't want to put this book down.

29. Kokoro by Natsume Sōseki.

30. In a Glass Darkly by J. Sheridan Le Fanu.

Not what I usually read but I really liked these stories. I think The Room in the Dragon Volant was my favorite because the end was so unexpected.

31. Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy.

32. The Sea and the Bells by Pablo Neruda.

Neruda is one of my favorite poets and I hope I can read more of him this year.

33. Dawa: The Story of a Stray Dog in Bhutan by Kunzang Choden.

34. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.

Interesting story and I liked how it was told by the daughters and moms point of view. I did have little problem to remember which daughter was which, so I got confused time to time, but I still liked it.

36. The White Tiger

I really really liked this book, great story and easy to read.

37. The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid.

I was little disappointed, I was looking more from this one.

38. White Magic and Other Poems by Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński.

39. Vadelmavenepakolainen by Miika Nousiainen.

I don't know what to think about this book. I though it would be happier and the beginning was promising, but it went totally different direction. But I still gave it 3 stars because I didn't want to put it down.

41. Homo Faber by Max Frisch.

42. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou.

43. Noitia maisemissa by Terry Pratchett.

I don't read lot of fantasy, but I love Pratchett. I like his humor and characters.

44. One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez.

45. The Hour of the Star by Clarice Lispector.

Not really my kind of style, but I still liked the middle part of the story.

I gave it 4 stars but I was glad it was short. I'm now reading The Passion According to G.H. and I don't know what to think.

46. Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.

I've seen the movie (1995 version) many many times and wanted to finally read the book.

I wanted to like her but I don't know... I think I have to read this one in Finnish at some point to understand it better.

I was little disappointed, I was looking more from these novels. They were different and interesting, but they left me anxious and every novel had at least one character that I found extremely irritating...

50. Historian jännät naiset – Merirosvoja, meedioita, varkaita ja vakoojaprinsessoja by Maria Pettersson.

Awesome stories of the women of the world. It's quite long, and made like a list (which I didn't really like), so you should read it little by little. But I really recommend it to everyone, especially to every women. Lot of new information that I haven't known before.
