Silence in the Library by Katharine Schellman is an enjoyable Regency cosy mystery, second in a series featuring young widow Lily Adler.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
As soon as I read the premise for Meredith Jaffe's new book, The Dressmakers of Yarrandarrah Prison, I knew I wanted to read it. I wasn't disappointed: this one is definitely a favourite for 2021.5★s

I love Robert Hillman;s books and Julian Pulvermacher does a great job on the audio of The Bookshop of the Broken Hearted, had me choking up, tears in my eyes quite a few times. A wonderful, moving read.5★s

The Soulmate Equation
Not my genre I guess. I am sure there are plenty who do like it. But it does get me the likes from the Russian bride sites. Probably time that Amazon cleaned it up a little.
A man reading a romcom, what do I expect 😊

4.5 stars for this contemporary chick lit - loved it!
Spring Clean for the Peach Queen by Aussie Author Sasha Wasleyhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Here's my review of the new deluxe hardcover edition of Troy: The Greek Myths Reimagined by Stephen Fry, a comprehensive yet readable (and witty!) retelling of an ancient classic.

The Night She Disappeared by Lisa Jewell about two teenagers who disappear without a trace was an enjoyable read.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Getting Tyson is exactly what the good guys are trying so hard to do with such little luck in this UK thriller by P.K. Davies. Big Dave Tyson has zero redeeming features!

Here's my review for Snow, a literary mystery set in snow-bound 1957 County Wexford (Ireland) by John Banville. A stimulating read.

Another off my TBR list, my views on
The Nowhere Child by AA Christian White 3.5★ rounded up to 4★https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Lewis Fitzgerald is an excellent choice for narrating the audio of Emma Viskic's Caleb Zelic series. And Fire Came Down is a dazzling sequel to #1, and I hope this narrator will be reading #3.5★s

While The Lady with the Gun Asks the Questions: The ultimate Miss Phryne Fisher collection by Kerry Greenwood is an excellent collection of small doses of Phryne Fisher, readers should be aware that all but four of the stories were published in A Question of Death: An Illustrated Phryne Fisher Treasury, which included many interesting extras. Do the four new stories compensate? Avid fans can decide.4★s

Robyn Harding's new novel
The Perfect Family is a fun domestic suspense about a less than perfect family.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I didn't know Daphne du Maurier wrote this kind of entertaining, historical romance. Frenchman's Creek is a light, atmospheric bodice-ripper in which no bodices are seen to be ripped. Pirates, lords and ladies, Cornwall!

I'm already familiar with the narrating prowess of Rupert Degas, and he doesn't let me down with Jock Serong's The Rules of Backyard Cricket. 5★s

My review for Thursdays at Orange Blossom House by Sophie Greenhttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Here's my review of The Whitby Murders, the latest instalment in J.R. Ellis's Yorkshire Mystery series featuring D.C.I. Oldroyd. To my mind, it's not the strongest book in the series to date, but still and enjoyable read.

The World at My Feet by Catherine Isaachttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Here's my review of The Codebreakers by Alli Sinclair, an historical fiction title based around the real-life story of Australia's WW2 female intelligence officers. A fascinating read.

I love Angela Marsons crime novels so thought I'd try her latest novel, a romantic comedy but unfortunately it wasn't for me.

Reluctantly Home by British author, Imogen Clark is a novel with an actress, a barrister and a diary: thought-provoking and uplifting. I've never found a diary like this in my volunteer job...4★s
