Carol Palmer | 526 comments update to #34:

I have now finished 17/27 books.

I'll finished one more later this week. That will leave 9 books. Those are all massive books of well over 1,000 pages each. I've been reading them off and on all year and am on track to finished them all by December 31! It has been my goal this year to read all the pre-1700 books on the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die list and it looks like I'll do it! (Keeping my fingers crossed)

Wow, that's great Carol! I've only read two pre-1700 books from that list but you've inspired me to add a couple more to my list next year.

Anne Hawn Smith (hawnsmith) | 146 comments #334 25/35, 2/10 total 27/45

I'm late on this, but I've been on a true crime obsession lately, so I'll read at least 35 books from the "Best True Crime" list. I'm also going to read 10 re-reads over 5 years old. I found I had read 25 new True-Crime books and 2 old ones, so I have changed my totals.

I did a little check up to see if I was going to be able to make my goal with what I’m currently reading and have planned for the rest of the year, and realized I’ve actually read one more from one of my listopias (a reread, but still counts!). So now only 2 left and 2 of my current reads will count so I’m definitely completing this soon 🤗
