Review: This book was really good. Kate meets Hunter at a bar and plans to have a one night stand. Of course, that doesn't happen due to his four year old daughter and this book is delightful from then on. Maddie is a hoot and I really enjoyed Kate and Hunter getting their HEA.

How it Fits: Book 6 of the Peri Jean Mace Series
Review: I really enjoyed this view back in time. I was able to connect so many people and past occurrences from earlier books and get a better understanding of the whole Mace Treasure history. I'm still struggling to like Peri Jean. I don't remember disliking her so much in the first few books. It seems that with the last two books (5 & 6) we've seem more of the negative side of her personality. They are completely understandable especially after seeing how she was treated in high school. It's the ghosty paranormal bits that keep me coming back for more.

Review ~

It was a 4-star for me. I really liked it so much better than the last 2,

That's the only reason I took off the star was that she was really wordy. I do hope she realizes that word count necessarily a good book does not make.

I did really love his backstory. Actually, I loved hers too. Both were tortured & scarred outside & in. I Loved the whole pirate theme too. I wish Mortimer would have gotten more his due. But anyhoo, he was in a hurry. Lol

I will Def be continuing to read this author. I am interested in her spin-offs & am wondering if The Devil You Know series is completely new or a spin-off of some kind as well.

How it Fits: Wallflowers #0.5
Rating: ★★★★★
Review:
That was the last book in Wallflowers series I read (but truly the first). I was in the stoy. I've reed every page with curiosity, with attachment for every character. We don't have one evil character here (it is Aline father, but he is only in the first chapters). We have revange, but a sweet one. The love between the main character but also the secondary couple I liked, the family bond (brother and sisters). Reading it is making me to want to re-read the whole series. I've read the first book in this series in 2013 but still remember part of it.

Review: I really enjoy this series. It's super fun and Richter is a pretty cool if not a goofy MC.
His magic skills, his dragon, his humour when the rest of the village doesn't understand a thing is super fun to witness.

Review:

I think this was my least favorite in the series so far. But I still gave it 4 stars. :-D
There wasn't much in the way of the supernatural. Just a plain old mystery. Sam is hired to find out the cause of death for a boxer who was knocked out and killed in the ring.
There are bits and pieces going on on the home front. Sam finds out her daughter has some special abilities herself, and with the events that happened with her son, Sam decides it's time to come clean and spill all her vampire secrets. Kingsley makes a big mistake but it's only briefly mentioned. Fang gets what he's always wanted and it changes his and Sam's relationship. We get a sneak peak at what makes a vampire. Remember what I said about werewolves? Verrrry Innnnntresting....

Carey I'm struggling to find a book that will fit this week. I'm not up to any more book 6s or 9s in my current series. So I'm searching for some series I can read out of order. Review: I loved this book. Brantley is home after being medically discharged from the Navy Seals after an op went bad. Reese works for Travis who was in another series. In the meantime, Travis' daughter is kidnapped. From this point on, there is non stop action. I loved everything about this story although I have to admit I love all of this author's books.

Week #8 ~Spot: 69 😜😜🤣
Book: This Isn't Fair, Baby 5* ✔️ 11/9
Author: K. Webster
Pages: 199 pages
Qualifications: Book #6 in War & Peace Series

Review ~ O. M. G!!! This book was so damn good!

Part of me is wondering why I waited so long to read this book. However, the other part believes if I'd read this immediately after This Isn't You, Baby & This is Me, Baby, I know I would have still loved it. But maybe not as much as I did just now. I was just so done with the series by then. And yes this series does need to be read in order. I did not like Vee books #4 & #5.

Could not stand her character, Like at all. But this book, oh I loved her. She was perfect in this book! I think she became one of my favorite heroines in this whole series!

She even out ranked Hannah-crazy-pants. And boy was that bitch crazy!
I loved how this book had it all. It had the darkness, but with humor spread throughout two tone down some of the darkness. It had a very romantic hero that I just loved. It had the best revenge of all time. And I mean all time! And some of the best snarky banter! Now just 1 more to go. It's almost, This is the End, Baby!!!
