Review:
This story felt out of place in the series. Not only are the characters and setting new but after the last book, Kinked, this book was like reading in a convent. Tess is trying to hide from a powerful Djinn so she decides to become an attendant to a vampire. Xavier takes her on and gives her a year trial. During this time she is training. Because she refuses to allow Xavier to take her blood, she is slow and becomes an outcast among the other attendants. This continues for 75% of the book. I wouldn't even call this a slow burn romance because there was no hint of any attraction from either party (or even a lot of interaction) so when they finally kiss it was out of the blue. Nothing exciting at all happens until the last 25% and even then, it's more a set up for the next book with Julian and Melisande.
With that said though, the romance was sweet and these two are adorable and it makes me happy that they are happy. :-)

Review: This was okay. I liked it well enough. Too much drama with the heroine. I understand she hated her sister but she was too judgmental without knowing the whole truth about her father. She annoyed the crap out of me. I love the Hero and the fact, he helped her understand what she was doing was wrong on so many levels.

Review: This is the 2nd book in a series that is about one couple so there are cliffhangers at the end of each book. This book starts after the end of the last book where Eleanor was told by her ex-fiance that Dante is his half brother. After some back and forth where Eleanor isn't sure she trusts Dante, she learns the backstory for Dante. This book ends in a cliffhanger also. I definitely want to read on to find out what happens.

Review: I'm loving this series! I listened to the first book on audio and read an ebook for this second book. I've discovered that I prefer reading the book to listening. I felt more invested in the story.
This is a fun mystery and a quick read. I was shocked by a few things. If you like cozy mysteries, you definitely need to give this one a chance.
Note: I originally said this was 168 pages. That's for the hardcover version. I read the ebook and it shows 222 pages.

Review:
It's a Cinderella story. We have Ella, her stepfather and her 3 stepsisters how make her dificil... Ridding it was heart-warming, a cute and innocent love story between Ella and Ian, Ian is not a prince in this story is a shopkeeper, but it was her prince. I liked this book and I'm curious about the others.

Review: I keep reading this series in the hopes that it will wow me but not so yet. I like the characters but the overall writing/story is rather mediocre. I’m hoping that the last book would be good. I really like the character but no expectations.

We didn't hear nothing about Jammin' Jenny. I hope she's okay and nothing happened :(

Review: This is the final book in the series. Cane goes into Tristan's castle to save Adelina. They save her but Tristan escapes. From that point on, there is a lot of suspense. I really loved Cane and Adelina and kept hoping everything would work out for them. This book had a lot of Crow and Pearl in it also which was great. I loved this entire series.

Review:
This book starts right where the last one left off, and also like the last book, this one ends in a cliff-hanger. But its not a huge one. More like a giant bolder-hanger. Can't wait to see what decision she made! Eek!
Sam meets Fang and it's someone we've known all along. (Que the love triangle.) She also has an up-close-and-personal encounter with Kingsley's Werewolf. I like the take on werewolves in this series. Think of it more like a demon possession then just shape-changing.
Sam gets a call from a little girl begging for help and puts in on herself to find her. At the same time, little Anthony has gotten really sick. Between watching her son knock on Death's door and trying to find a missing little girl being held and used for who knows what horrible things, Sam is an emotional wreck. That doesn't stop her from bashing in some heads!

Was a light book in my opinion, nothing exceptional happened, but I liked the interaction between the characters. The sincerity about their feelings. Some secrets that make the story last longer, and a little abrupt end in my opinion (I wanted more).

I've sent Jenny a reminder that if she misses the deadline again this week, she will be disqualified. Hope she's okay.

I hope she's okay too. Thanks, Denise.
If she doesn't turn up and post a review by deadline, she's off the team - in which case, with all reviews from the remaining team members accounted for, you can roll and continue playing.

I've message Jenny to inform her she's off the team. Still no reply from her whatsoever, and it doesn't seem like she's been on GR at all over the past couple of weeks. Hope we'll hear from her at some point.
I've also contacted a back-up payer who should hopefully be joining you shortly.
