Review: I enjoyed this first book in the series. Jason owns a construction company and Summer is heading up the new project. Of course, they are attracted to one another and trying to fight it. I'll read on in this series for sure.

REVIEW. ~ it was OK. 3* &

There was a lot of action in suspense but it was lacking in Romance and I did not feel the H/h chemistry.

It did have a good story. It wasn't that but it wasn't really good either.

As far as continuing the series so, we'll just have to wait and find out. There is a couple of the guys that I'm very curious about their story and the next book is one of them.

Review

This was a fun Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones adventure. I loved all the running around, secret passages, relic finding, strange monk mysteries and a dash of romance. Not something I read a lot of, but it's a good break from my norm. Kendall and Jake are hired by Nathan to find a box but turns out they aren't the only ones looking for it. There a little bit of paranormal sprinkled into the story with Kendall being able to "see" an item's history. There is a large cast and I kept forgetting who some of the people were but I just rolled with it. Looking forward to the next adventure with these three!

An old but good book. I was surprised many times. I liked all the main characters, which means I'm definitely going to read the other two books in the serie. The Last capter was a little.... I didn't except that 😣. Need to read the next book to see what hapens with Chase, fate was too cruel to him

Just checked the book and The Heroine, Natalie has 21 years, specified in capter 2:
But otherwise, his expression remained completely unruffled. “That makes you twenty-one or twenty-two?”
“Twenty-one.”

And with this book I will have a "started and finished series" between this challenge.

While I am still enjoying this series, this one had a lot going on and a bit all over the place. Sam realizes that her boxer boyfriend is actually compelled, not in love. I didn't see that coming and how the hell did she even know? We don't see her kids or Danny much but he plays a major role in the big showdown. Sam is also battling her inner demon. figuratively and literally. Detective Hanner and Fang are back in the picture. I really hope she doesn't start a romance with Fang. There are already too many love interests. Get back with Kingsley! :-D

Is mentioned in capter 2 that the heroine, Natalie, has 21 years: “That makes you twenty-one or twenty-two?” “Twenty-one.”

I think this was my favorite book in this series, but surely won't read again non of the books, because there are better ones waiting to be read. The story was fast paced, they marry because of convenience, she needs a job and he needs a housekeeper, and a mother for his daughter. And the book had a happy end, of course.
Also there is more detailed about the cord plane accident, from the next book, and I was curious about it.

And with this one I've finished the Cord & Stacy series.

I'm afraid for this week it's way too late for that - you can only request those before the team has rolled for the week in question. Something unexpected coming up like this is what the free pass is for, though unfortunately you've already used yours.

Carey, I absolutely understand that in this situation, you have more important things on your mind. Family comes first, and I very much hope your husband will recover soon.

However, it would be unfair to the other teams if I started making exceptions to the clearly stated rules. Hope you understand.

We have several teams in high enough spots to roll past 100 (or get there by using bonus points) next week, so to clarify:
The first team to finish and post reviews for all their books for a spot past 100 wins.

Karen has rolled for your team for this week, though she held off on posting it here because she wanted me to clarify whether you're actually good to continue with Carey dropping out. (The answer to which is yes!)

I'm sure she'll be back to handle the proper post soon, but I'll just put this here for you guys:
