I'll check those out, thanks!

- The Sword Complete Collected Dlx Hardcover (I really enjoyed Luna's Alex+Ada, so hoping the same for this...this book is huge!)
- Batman/TMNT HC (read good things on this crossover)
- Deathnote Black Editions 2-6 TPBs (first manga I've read and it's awesome!)
- Invincible Ultimate Collection 4 & 9 (still need 10 & 11 to catch up)
- Kill Them All, and Rock Candy Mountain Vol 1 TPBs (because I loved the humor from Sexcastle)
- Tomb Archives Vol. 2
- Batwoman by Rucka TPB
Expecting a number of pre-orders this month...but everything is released late in the UK! Absolute Authority 1, WWH Omni, Luthor Strode, Simonson's Thor, Hellboy in Hell, Power Rangers Year One Dlx, Green Valley & Ghostbusters Book 3. I chose to skip the Darkseid War Omni for now.
Ouch, my wallet. November is going to be just as expensive.

That's quite a bit! Is that Deathnote series what the Netflix series is based on?
I highly recommend Authority. "Widescreen action" is a good way to describe it, plus some "out of the box" ideas with the stories.

I think I'll finish off Deathnote and some other complete stories like Akira.

The Netflix adaptation was terrible. Stick to reading the manga.

Just got the Walt Simonson Thor omnibus.
Really thirsting over the JLI omni and that Akira boxset; we'll see if either happens.

I'm stalking ferociously all amazon accounts in search of the Thor omnibus I hope it gets "released" as soon as possible...

Oktober in hardcover for me so far is: Hellboy in Hell, Marvel Zomnibus, BPRD 1946-48, Fables 10-12, Punisher Ennis Omnibus, and hopefully Valiants Bloodshot Deluxe #1, if the local bookstore really has access to one late copy if it, as promised.

I know it's off topic but any Europeans can help me find a website site were I can buy some quality Marvel posters ?

I used to buy from cheapgraphicnovels.com all the time, but the last six months or so they have had a problem with having books in stock, even the week of release, so I have switched to IST. IST is also better on postage, as I've been upgraded to either free FedEx ground or just pay $2-3. Also haven't had any problems with them being out of stock.

The Swamp Thing book is nice! Just missing a few Bronze Age comics, but I'll take what I can get.

Thanks everyone! When I use my phone with the app sometimes the pics don't appear for me. It's in the photo section for the group but I don't think there's a way to get there through the app.

"
Beautiful collection. Seeing it reminds me I need to finish that Preacher set and my Invincible Ultimate Collections.
Thanks! Regarding invincible I still haven't read any of them. I really need to start so I can decide if I want to keep getting them.

Top three books or series per bookcase? :P
Someone asked me that question about one of my bookcases the other day. (My answer for the bookcase in question was Parker, Fear Agent, and New Frontier).

Wow, that's tough. I'm going to go with:
Marvel "Classic" Omnibus:
Amazing Spider-Man
Uncanny X-Men
Fantastic Four
Marvel "Modern" Omnibus:
Hickman Fantastic Four
Brubaker Captain America
Fraction Hawkeye
DC. This is really hard, there are so many:
Absolute Watchmen
Absolute Top Ten
Johns' Green Lantern
Independent (again, difficult):
Fear Agent
Criminal
Deadly Class

Dave Stewart did an amazing job on Hard Boiled & The Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot; there's 5-10-times the coloring work of your average comic crammed into the 200 pages between both of those books. Hard Boiled is still one of the top 5 visual masterworks in the medium's history, and it gets over-looked sometimes... I still can't believe it took 25 years for a revised edition/reprint. Lead Poisoning: The Pencil Art of Geof Darrow was great as well, though I would really like to see a huge retrospective collection of his pencil, ink and colored work, but I can't complain now that there's a matching 5-volume Geof Darrow series of OHC's. Actually, I CAN still complain: 10" x 14" or 12" x 16" would've been appropriate, given the intricacy of the art... but 9" x 12" is fine, I guess.

This is a great month for new releases.
The Prince Valiant: Studio Edition finally dropped, after 2 years of rolled-back release dates. It's arriving tomorrow, and I haven't looked forward to a book more in years.

Chris Ware - Monograph is a 280 page art-book published by Rizzoli, a first for comic art, and it's 13 x 18.5-inches. It's too awesome for hyperbole.

Another Oct. release is 'The Art of Mondo', which I haven't been able to put down. It's a super-high-quality hardcover, and a massive 9.5 x 13-inch, 360-page slab of the coolest film poster art ever produced. I wrote an embarrassingly enthusiastic review about it, rambling and image-posting my way over the maximum character allotment.

And there's still the Akira boxed-set, the Hellboy in Hell Library Edition, and the ultra-deluxe hardcover from Fantagraphics collecting every Robert Williams oil painting, from the mid-60's to 2017, as well as collected drawings & underground cartoons from 'Zap!'

Also, this:

It's an XXL, super-deluxe history of Dinosaur Art.

So questions are: (1) Does anyone have a link to what it will actually look like in the box? Seems like most posts about it show the 30th anniversary softcover box as a reference. (2) Is this worth it with the assumed 50% off?
Thanks!
