What have you added to your collection recently?

Did some rearranging and added two new pics of my Marvel Collection:

All of my DC stuff is just stacked for now because I have no other shelves.

People are so cheap! In my country at least, a standard box bought in official postoffice costs about 1€ (1,10$). And im talking about a box good enough to fit 1 big Omnibus... not talking about TPB or OHC.

Is there yet room in the remodel plans for more shelves? :)
I had someone send a hardback book over the ocean from England in a paper envelope with no padding. At least the pizza box is a little funny. :)
Anyone read Peter Panzerfaust from Image? Apparently it's a different telling of the Peter Pan story taking place during WWII. There is a DLX with the first ten issues and the final TPB just came out last month ending with issue 25 (final issue double sized). I just ordered the DLX yesterday.

There's a little more room but the trade-off is wall space for artwork. The hardcovers also battle for space with boxes of comics. It's a delicate balance. :)

Yes. I've read the first three trades and it's great. A good balance of historical fiction, humor, and the whimsy/magical realism of Peter Pan. I was holding off on the Deluxe personally because I wasn't sure the whole series would be printed in that format.

Always nice when it's signed. Speaking of I just received a copy of the first astro city hc signed by Busiek for only $25. Used but great shape.

Sharing what i've acquired since beginning of 2017:
- The Massive: Ninth Wave Library Edition
- The Massive Library Edition Volume 1 and 2
- The Fade Out Deluxe Hardcover
- Velvet Deluxe Hardcover
- Locke & Key Master Edition 1, 2 and 3
- Brightest Day Omnibus
- War of Kings Omnibus / Aftermath Omnibus
- Guardians of the Galaxy by Brian Michael Bendis Vol. 1 Omnibus
- Guardians of the Galaxy & X-Men: Black Vortex OHC
- Daredevil by Mark Waid Omnibus Vol. 1
- Dragon Age Library Edition Vol.1
And thats all for now :)

In the past couple of weeks, I've just recieved
X-Men Legacy omni,
Road to War of Kings omni,
Fantasic Four by Millar v2 tpb
Old Man Logan OHC,
The Comic Book Story of Beer tpb,
The Complete Phonogram OHC,
Locke and Key Small World one-shot Deulxe HC
I picked up that Locke and Key book as its not included in the recently announced deluxe hc that collects the other three one-shots, but when it arrived I was surprised to fine it wasn't oversized like the Master Editions. I'm hoping they write a few more short stories in the future so we can get a properly oversized book to sit next to Master Edition 3.
Bruno, I'll be curious what you think about the Massive. I haven't read it but I'm a little tempted. You should be pleased with the two Brubaker books.
Ooh_jim, that's too bad about Locke and Key. Wonder why they didn't make it an OHC?

I did love The Massive... the story is around the end of the world (or something similar) and how does a group like "Greenpeace" would deal with it... very very original.
The drawings are so good specially in that size. Highly recommend, and its pretty cheap for the type of book it is.

Good taste in your haul!

- Bloodshot Deluxe 1 (finally found a good deal)
- Fantastic Four Omni by Fraction (i know reviews are poor, but I got
a new copy on ebay for 25 and I will read anything FF-related)
- X-Men Legacy: Legion Omni
- Mighty Thor Omni Vol 2 (deciding I am going all in on Thor?)
- Road to War of Kings (already read and liked better than War of Kings itself, but maybe my own fault for not waiting to read in order)
- Fear Agent LE Vol 2
- Ragnarok (Simonson) Vol 1
- Underwater Welder (which I read in 30 minutes and was holding back tears - jesus, Lemire, you're a monster)

- Mighty Thor Omni Vol 2 (deciding I am going all in on Thor?)"
I've been contemplating the same... should i go all in on Thor? For now, i'm inclined for NO! but still sometimes, for a couple of seconds, i change my mind...

You know what happened, I saw that Vol. 2 on ebay for 30 dollars and jumped thinking it was a deal, but obviously now because of my OCD I am over-committed to buying minimum 2 other volumes of Thor. To be fair, reading Simonson's Ragnarok (which is up for discussion as the best value for your dollar in the hardcover world [you can find it for like 14 dollars and its beautiful and has really interesting sketches and process work in the back]) has gotten me more interested in Thor.

Im exactly like that... if i buy volume 2, i will buy for sure volume 3 which is coming out this year, and i will need to buy the super-Overpriced volume 1 :(

What a joke."
Speaking of jokes, I heard some folks are pretty thor about it. :P
Frankly, I am hoping they do another reset soon. It's about the only way to really fix what they are doing with Cap and the Marvel universe.

Is anyone else having bad luck with damaged titles from IST? Got two in a row. Snyder Swamp Thing the cover edges were all smashed like it was dropped several times. Invisibles Deluxe 4 has two razor slices in the dust jacket, one all the way through the cover. Don't know if I should nitpick and return or just deal with it. Invisibles was on back order for a whole month only for it to show up damaged : /
