yeah, I had a problem with that too. That just seemed a little on the creepy side. Between the time her kids got out of the house and the cruise, there was no time to date or just have an affair. Ugh...Charlotte just annoyed me.

Yeahhhh just one of the things about this book that were done badly. I mean it's cool that an older person gets to express sexual desire but the way it was written and framed was just strange. In my opinion it also didn't make sense in the context of her random bouts of Catholic Guilt.

Um yeah. She feels Catholic guilt and freaks out that because of her son she will lose her church and the slightly weird attentions of the priest, which kinda sounds like harassment to me, but she does not feel guilty about lusting after every guy she meets and imagining having sex with them? I will have nightmares about horny grandmas after this :D

When does round 1 end? I am trying figure out how many parts I have to listen to of Anna Karenina before the end of this round. The first time I listened to it I loved the book, now I just want to knock Anna and Stiva upside the head. Maybe it’s just my mood, I don’t know. At least there are other people stories I like so at least there is that. I am planning on doing 1 part a day unless I have to do more. There are 8 parts.
