The Bachelor Team Challenge - Round 4 - Q&A, Tracking & Announcements
- This is book 5 in the set. Book 1 lists the state as Massachusetts and every other book has been there but book 5's MP doesn't state anything about the location. I believe it still is in Massacusetts as I have started the book. Is this okay?
Maura wrote: "A book I really, desperately want to read is tagged "New England". Any chance that would count?"Maybe, it needs to be in a coastal state though so I would need something more than New England.
Annette wrote: "Does this book work? There is no location in the details but it mentions Nantucket in the précis.
"Yes, that works.
Wende wrote: "Would a book tagged fluffy or cosy work for light hearted?"Maybe, you can send me the book. I need context to determine - fluffy doesn't necessarily work.

I would need something specific about this book.
Ooops... I accidentally posted my SH book in the SH feed twice instead of my team feed. How do I strike through the post? I did go back and add to my team feed.

As far as I can tell, there isn't anything in the precis or tags to say anything else. It's a spinoff of a series I've read and set in the same town, which is coastal, but nothing to prove it. So I guess that's a no go? I'll just have to read it for a different task then :-)
Lauren wrote: "Ooops... I accidentally posted my SH book in the SH feed twice instead of my team feed. How do I strike through the post? I did go back and add to my team feed."Use < s > at the beginning and < /s > at the end - without the spaces. 😊

This may be a silly question, but if it's tagged/shelved with one of the states would that work as a qualification? For example, I have a book tagged "location-Florida".
Grace wrote: "This may be a silly question, but if it's tagged/shelved with one of the states would that work as a qualification? They need to be specific to the qualifying state though, in other words not something like 'New England states' or 'Southern states'.

Thank you!!
❄Apoorva❄ wrote: "Hi MKat, would the tag all-the-feels or swoon-worthy work?"'all the feels' would work, but 'swoon-worthy' does not necessarily fit.

Thank you 😊
Stefanie wrote: "Hi, in my book the MC is hiking the Apalachian Trail. Does this count? Sorry I am from Europe 🤷🏼♀️"Not necessarily, I would need something more specific. The Appalachian Trail crosses many states, some that qualify and some don't.
Wende wrote: "Would Inspirational tag work?"No, Inspirational is a genre. Hopefully there is some other tag that would work.
Chris wrote: "for handcuffs, if the MC is a vampire version of cop counts?"I would need a way to verify that. 🤷🏻♀️
MountainKat wrote: "Wende wrote: "Would sweet no sex or cosy work"Of those, 'sweet' is the only one that works."
Thank you!
Kat, would you acept this description on the precis as a prove that the MC is a law enforcer (in this book tgey are not called cops, but another name):"When a lethal drug targeting paranormal citizens is unleashed on the streets of Atlanta, Hadley hits the clubs to pin down the dealer."
Nayara wrote: "Kat, would you acept this description on the precis as a prove that the MC is a law enforcer (in this book tgey are not called cops, but another name):"When a lethal drug targeting paranormal cit..."
That description isn't enough, it could be something like a vigilante. If you want to send me the book I can look to see if I can find something there would verify law enforcement.
MountainKat wrote: "☘KathyD☘ wrote: "does sweet-sexy-hero work for heartwarming?"Yes, that works."
thanks Kat!
Hi Kat!If the precis states that the book is set in the Berkshires, will that work? I know it's a mountain range, but it's located almost exclusively in Mass. and a bit in NY.
Skinny Dipping Dare. The whole camp firefly falls series is set at a campsite in the Berkshires. Another book in the series, Crushing on Cooper has a 'Massachusetts' tag.
Thanks!
*edit- I found a New York tag for Skinny Dipping Dare

This is the book Change of Heart. On the precis of first one of the series it's cleares that she is working in a "case" but I don't know if the precis of another book would be ok.

I don't see anything that would work for this book. ☹️ No, the precis of another book in a series does not work in this challenge - the book needs to qualify on its own. And working a case isn't necessarily law enforcement anyway. 🤷🏻♀️

Kat would this be enough of a description for New York? The first novel in a sexy new series featuring the hockey players of the Brooklyn Bruisers
AliciaJ wrote: "Hey Kat, would tearjerker, made me cry, or swoon-worthy qualify for heartwarming?"No, those do not imply heartwarming - they could be angsty or depressing.
Hazel wrote: "Kat would this be enough of a description for New York? The first novel in a sexy new series featuring the hockey players of the Brooklyn Bruisers"
The series title works, but it is also tagged New York. 😉

Thanks Kat I must have missed the tag. It was late when I was looking.
