Trip (shardsofromance) | 2210 comments Hi Gabriella! I found some great books on your Tbr and did a little digging for new ones, so I hope you find something you like in these picks. Let me know if want more or any repicks, as I'm happy to do that 😊

Cats spend 70% of their lives sleeping
[NEW] Gideon the Ninth (The Locked Tomb, #1) by Tamsyn Muir its got a dark cover! It's stunning and on my tbr. I thought it fit a lot of what mentioned you like on profile. It's got fantasy, mystery, sci fi and lgbt so what's not to love.

A cat was the Mayor of an Alaskan town for 20 years
[NEW] My Name Is Rachel by Lorna Peel Small town romance with a mystery.

The record for the longest cat ever is 48.5 inches
[NEW] Phoenix Unbound (Fallen Empire, #1) by Grace Draven its a pretty long book at 400pgs, the cover is beautiful and its got paranormal with romance.

Isaac Newton invented the cat door
[TBR] Die for Me (Killing Eve #3) by Luke Jennings All I know of these two is from trailers and bits I've seen of the show, but its all rather intense and shocking. I think both are rather smart in their fields of work and involves some traveling.

In 1963 a cat went to space
[TBR] Carol by Patricia Highsmith Ive only seen the film, it's a really passionate and beautiful story in a strange wat but I enjoyed it. I hope the book is as good as usually they are better.

Nayara, these are great, thank you! I appreciate you adding comments on the new ones - that helps a lot! I've already placed a hold for a couple of your recommendations and hope I can get to them in June! I'm reading really slowly these days....

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments Hi Chaos I'm working on your picks and hope to have them today or tonight!

message 87: by Sonja (new)

Sonja (sonjac) | 1364 comments Hey Chaos! Think I found a few you'll enjoy here. I tired to stick to genres I saw you read a lot of when making my new recommendations. Happy Reading!

1. Oldest Cat
TBR:Cheat Codes - Been on your list for about a year!
NEW: Idol - I read this one a while ago and loved it. I've got book 3 of the series on my PIFM for June. Lots of great rock music references here and I enjoy this writer's style.
Cheat Codes (Dawson Family, #1) by Emily Goodwin Idol (VIP, #1) by Kristen Callihan

2.Sleeping
TBR: All I Want Is A Kiss- Stars on cover!
NEW: The Last Werewolf - Star and moon and a dark cover. I'm never sure about recommending this one. I loved it, but it's technically more horror than romance. Some people love the writer's style, some hate it. I think he's brilliant. Anyway, I won't be overly offended if you decide not to read this one.
All I Want Is A Kiss by Willow Winters The Last Werewolf (The Last Werewolf, #1) by Glen Duncan

3.Unusual Cat
TBR: Full Tilt - Unusual title and I've been wanting to read this one!
NEW: The Wall of Winnipeg and Me - unusual title to me, but I thought it was good. Serious slow burn tho...

5. Richest Cat The richest cat in the world had £7 million
TBR: My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend - obviously a wealthy character!
NEW: Shacking Up - Wealthy character. This one was as funny as it was good. I enjoyed the characters and there's even an illegal pet ferrit! Hilarity naturally ensues...

Fran | 12271 comments Just a friendly reminder everyone!

✱ Please remember this is primarily a romance readers group. Thus, most, if not all, of your picks should be romance. There are various sub genres within the romance category - Contemporary, Historical, Paranormal, Romantic Suspense, Erotica, M/M, Urban Fantasy. If your pickee reads a wide variety, you could add a non-romance as a choice.
