Of all we have heard about the disaster in Chernobyl, only Eva Gordon has thought to address the mutations of werewolves! If that doesn’t tell you how out of the box, this author thinks, nothing will! CHERNOBYL WEREWOLF is Lev’s tale. Lev is a mutant werewolf, huge, faster, more powerful and a loner, no one knows his true abilities and if he can be fully trusted, not even himself. Lev never thought he would find a true mate, but there she was, Dr. Rachel Becker, estranged daughter of a human doctor working with lycans, recovering from Ebola in her father’s home. Even as frail as she is, Lev feels there is power in this woman and she should be his, if only he felt worthy of taking a mate. Rachel also carries the one specific gene that will allow her to mate with a werewolf, something few women carry, although it makes her blood powerfully addicting.

The mutual attraction brings new life to Rachel, and the powerful, yet frightening man becomes part of her fantasies as she unknowingly falls for a being that shouldn’t exist anywhere but in folklore. Sounds almost like a dream, doesn’t it? A very special attraction at first sight, but if these two are to have any chance of a happy ending, or should I say, a happy beginning, Rachel will become the object of a deadly werewolf pack’s desire and only Lev may be strong enough to save her, but can he? What if he arrives too late, what if she has been killed, or worse? He has tasted her blood, shared her body and felt the love he has for her, will he also now feel the pain of losing her before they can really become as one?

Get ready for some big, no, HUGE surprises as Eva Gordon takes us back into her world of shifters and the powerful bonds they all share. Re-visit with past characters, discover hidden secrets no human should know and hang on for the heat and passion that Eva Gordon builds between her characters. Sometimes raw and primal, sometimes sweet and sigh-worthy, one thing for sure, Ms. Gordon makes this world come to life with wonderful storytelling, characters that feel alive and conflict, lots of conflict!

I received an ARC edition from Eva Gordon in exchange for my honest review.

This is a book that I have been looking forward to and author Eva Gordon, who's take on werewolves is very different from other writers, did not disappoint. There might have been a couple of moments of “what is she doing?” or “what is this all about” but in the end this fantastic read was very, very satisfying.

Lev Volkov is thought to be a mutant werewolf, thanks to the Chernobyl disaster. He is a lone wolf who does contract work for Team Greywolf. He finds his heart stolen by his doctor's daughter, who he only meets by chance. Dr. Rachel Becker has survived Ebola and a kidnapping by terrorists comes home to her estranged father, Dr. Howard Becker. There she meets a man who truly brings her back to life.

The chemistry between the handsome Russian and Rachel is immediate but in both of their cases it is dangerous. Lev has no idea what Chernobyl did to him and Rachel is a woman who doesn't know that she has the Stallo gene. This is something that could leave Lev addicted to her blood and if it were her wish he could be her slave. But life just has a way of doing crazy things that make everything work out.

I just couldn't figure out how this story could possibly have a happy ending. Rest assured it does, but the reader is going to go through a winding route to get there. Oh, but, getting there is always half the fun as this couple learn the truth about themselves and go through a number of changes, especially to Rachel. Of course, you will have to read this book to find out what happens to her because I don't do spoilers. Just suffice to say ...CHERNOBYL WEREWOLF is a great read that will have you glued to the pages and wanting the next book right now!

An exciting quick moving love story between strong willed Rachel and persistent Alpha Lev this book will satisfy all readers.

Author Eva Gordon continues the Team Greywolf's series with this second book involving Lev Volkov, a powerful mutant werewolf from Chernobyl and Rachel Becker, M.D who has the Stallo genetic marker and becomes a hunted women.

With rich detail into the world of werewolves and their battle to keep any women with the Stallo genetic marker safe from those that would use and harm them this story starts out running and never slows down it pace till the last page.

The struggle between Lev and his wolf keep the level of anxiety up throughout the book but this is balanced by his strength of character to above all things keep Rachel safe even from himself. The author balances the uncontrollable parts of him with the part that is kind and loving and draws the reader to feel compassion for his struggle to not hurt Rachel.

Rachel is very strong willed and the reader will come to understand what her struggles are and why she must be in control. This makes for a strong primary female character. She is believable and will draw the reader into fighting along with Lev to keep her alive.

All the characters are well developed and draw the reader into knowing more about them and their lives. They will also read more about the characters from Book 1.

I give this 5 STARS for showing how two can find a away to be there for each other in-spite of all odds.

I was given a free copy of this book without and expectations from anyone. Chernobyl Werewolf is an exciting and action packed read from start to finish. The author does an excellent job of creating a world with paranormals and imagery that pulls you in.This story features Lev, A Russian werewolf who survived Chernobyl with amazing abilities and Rachel Becker a doctor with no idea that werewolves really exist . One look ,one sniff and Lev is hooked and though ordered to stay away from her circumstances arise where she is in danger from both people in her world and those in Levs and Lev won't let anything happen to her if he can help it.This story has a new and very interesting ideas on werewolf myths and origins.I absolutely loved this story and can't wait for the next book in this series.

>Book Review – Chernobyl Werewolf

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the second in the Team Greywolf series and ends in an HEA. Lev is a werewolf that survived the nuclear fallout at Chernobyl. He can do much more than a regular were. No one is sure all of what he is able to do. As a result of the unknown, Lev is shunned in female were society as a mate. His abilities lend themselves naturally to the Team Greywolf LIA society.

>Rachel is the human daughter of the human werewolf doctor that saved Lev’s life. When Lev meets Rachel, he feels an immediate pull. Rachel carries the special blood that can be used to mate with werewolves, but her father tried to hide her from that fate. Rachel is an interesting woman. She is also a doctor and very headstrong. Knowing how a pack mentality treats humans, her personality will either be crushed or she will learn to conform and become submissive.

>There is more of Cricket and Slade, which is awesome. Lev is over the top alpha and saves Rachel multiple times. The surprise at the end is foreshadowed a bit, but still a wonderful end for the lonely Lev. The magic in this book is a little silly, with bones coming together to fight, but the threat of necromancy does explain the hunting of women with Rachel and Mia’s blood type.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 5 stars. I only wish we could have seen Mia giving birth and Dominic reacting to his new family.

Lev has been a lone wolf most of his life. Being an outcast because he survived Chernobyl. He is back to join the Team Greywolf after saving Mia from a deadly fate. He meets Rachel, Dr Beckers daughter and his wolf determines that she is theirs. He has to protect her but everything is against him and Rachel being together. She is wanted by a rogue pack and boy do they bring it on. Her blood is too important to waste. His super powers handy.
I was always rooting for Lev, he is gorgeous and super strong but unwanted. Rachel is a strong independent woman and that she never backed off from her feelings to Lev speaks volumes of her. I liked her :) Their union tainted by his past and shadowed by her being in danger packs a story full of angst, action and determination and sexy romps.

I actually loved the story of Lev and Rachel. I want to say I think the narrator did a wonderful job as well.

The chemistry between Lev and Rachel was amazing. Lev was like a moth to a flame. He could not stay away from her no matter how much he knew he should.

The story has you steamy romance along with your mystery. The author does an amazing job keeping you on the edge of your seat.

I love the creativity the author did when writing Lev’s character. She really thought outside the box on this one.

This is a book I would recommend if you love softer books. The author did an amazing job writing the story.

Lev, the Chernobyl Werewolf, was an interesting character. He was very Alpha but kept himself at a distance. He could be sweet and protective, and then aloof. Rachel was a survivor and very independent, but she had an open mind. They had heat as a couple and a lot of love. I enjoyed their interactions with each other. The story had plenty of action to keep me listening. I look forward to the next in this story. Holly Holt did a wonderful job with all the accents and kept the pace of the story moving so that I did not want to stop listening.

I received a copy of this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

The minute his wolf scented her he knew and looking into her eyes his human half knew it too, she was his. But when her father made his swear not to touch her things got complicated. She was recovering but being near him made her feel so much better so much sooner then expected. Now they are in a race against time and the enemy but can they deny their feeling for 1 another any longer despite his promise to her father he has to save her life 1 way or another.

I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book. This is book 2 of Team Greywolf series by the author.

Loved This Story! Eva Gordon has penned another wonderful book in the Team Greywolf Series. The unique characters in this story are very interesting, and the plot will keep you spell-bound. As you listen along, you’ll be very surprised at what happens when Rachel and Lev team up as fated mates. Even though I read this story in book form, I especially enjoyed listening to the Audible version as Holly Holt did a wonderful job in bringing this story to life. Another fan-freaking-tastic installment in the new ‘Team Greywolf’ series! This 2nd book is just as awesome (maybe a smidgen more than the 1st one ;) lol) so I can hardly wait for the next upcoming book- but I will :D ... Ms. Gordon has a magical way of writing a unique storyline with well-defined characters & awesome details that will pull you right into this page-turning must read, and then keep you on the edge of your seat not wanting to stop! I highly recommend this to all fans of fiction & especially those who love PNR fiction like I do :D I volunteered to read this awesome book & these are my own & honest opinions with no outside influences.

This is another great addition to the series, but the author lost momentum toward the end when seemingly we shifted to a new reality where solar/lunar eclipses are a regular event (maybe she meant waxing moons? Who knows). The theme of the plot revolved around this subject, so making eclipses so convenient ruined the storyline for me. The book still gets a 4 because I love the characters, but this one could have been plotted better.

Romance, adventure, intrigue, suspense, sassy woman, dominate male. What more could you ask for in a book. Great descriptions and characters. I love the team greywolf series, each can be stand alone and I read out of order, but never felt like I missed anything, although you would have sneak peeks of how another couple is doing in their relationship. I happily volunteered to read a copy of this book and absolutely love it. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

This series is captivating. Lev is the Chernobyl Wolf, a mutant, freak who is stronger and faster than other wolves. They fear him because they don't know how or what he is capable of.
I love this story and I love Lev. Action suspense love, I couldn't put it down and I can't wait to see what happens next.

So much action in this book! Bad guys coming out of the woodwork, a handsome, alpha, rule-breaking hero, and magic. Be sure to read the first book of this series Slade, for the most enjoyment. There is another series leading into this one called Alpha Wolf's Pet if you want more. I received a free review copy of the audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Seems like mutant werewolves are as addictive as Rachel's blood is to Lev! This is the first book I've read in the series, but it won't be the last. Intense attraction and fiendish danger are the biggies here, but all the characters are interesting and the plot twists made me nutz. Loved it! Especially when voice interpreted by Holly Holt!

Rachel’s father hasn’t been there throughout her life but when she contracts Ebola he returns. But with his return comes secrets, lots of secrets, and one hot Russian. Lev finds that Rachel appeals to both the wolf and the man. However a request from the man that saved his life puts Rachel out of reach. Can he corral the wolf and stay away or will the danger to Rachel push past his honor?
Chernobyl Werewolf is second in Eva Gordon’s Team Greywolf series. This story can be read as a standalone. I adored Lev. He was as alpha as they come but also sweet. He is somewhat affiliated with team Greywolf but the trust isn’t there, on either side. The changes made to his DNA make-up sets him apart, until Rachel he doesn’t really care. With Rachel he was able to be more and be seen as an individual, not a freak. And poor Rachel, she finds herself dropped into a world where rules were strict and consequences deadly. She is used to the illusion of equality but in this world she will never be equal. Can she accept her new life? Ms. Gordon painted Rachel’s struggle in a realistic manner even as she found herself drawn to Lev. This was my first time reading Ms. Gordon and it will not be the last. The story was well written and the characters were enjoyable. I loved getting to know Lev and Rachel and look forward to visiting this world again.

This is the 2nd book in the Team Greywolf series which I enjoy very much and was anxiously waiting for this one...Was dying to know what woiuld happen with the Chernobyl Wolf.

Lev Volkov is thought to be a mutant werewolf, but the largest and most dangerous with unique abilities in all the world thanks to the Chernobyl disaster. He is a lone wolf who does contract work for Team Greywolf. He finds his heart stolen by the daughter of the man who saved his life and leg, Dr. Rachel Becker. He only meets Rachel by chance when he goes by her father's home to bring him a gift from Russia, where she is recovering from a bout of Ebola. He can't get enough of her enticing aroma, but he promised her father he would not bring her inro their world, but how can he resist his mate? Rachel meets a man who truly brings her back to life, he is strange too, but all in a good way.

The chemistry between the handsome Russian and Rachel is immediate but in both of their cases it is dangerous. Lev has no idea what all the abilities are that Chernobyl gave him and Rachel is a woman who doesn't know that she has the Stallo gene and that because of this Lev could become her slave.. But life just has a way of doing crazy things that make everything work out.

This is a crazy ride,I loved the ending to this story, surprised the heck out of me, but you'll just have to read it yourself to find out.

The action and suspense is overwhelming in this story. I loved it

A rogue wolf, Lev Volkov, is grateful to be alive. He was severely injured and the Lycan Intelligence Agency doctor, Howard Becker, repairs his injuries. To thank him, he tracks down the talented doctor with gifts of a rare Russian samovar and a rare bottle of vodka. When he knocks on the door he finds a lovely irresistible woman that is recovering from Ebola. Their attraction is immediate.
Rachel was a doctor with Doctors without Borders. She contracted Ebola while working in Africa. She is also Howard’s daughter. Lev cannot stay away, he wants her and his wolf wants her. He made a promise to Howard to never see her again. She is a rare woman with ancient blood that attracts alpha wolves.
When Rachels life becomes threatened, Lev saves her life. Can he protect her from other alpha wolves? Who is after her and why?
Chernobyl Werewolf is a romance and a mystery. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. Leve and Rachel have great chemistry. I am looking forward to MORE Team Greywolf. Grab this book it will not disappoint!

Now this is a series story written the way a really good series is meant to be. "Chernobyl Werewolf" is the second in the 'Team Greywolf Series' with Rachel Becker M.D. and Lev finding their way to a HEA. Of course, this will not be an easy task as Lev's wolf meets his mate, but Lev must work to ignore his wolf. Rachel, on the other hand, knows nothing about werewolves. Protecting Rachel is a full time job that Lev is more than happy to be doing, but the twists and turns the author puts in their way is a refreshing take on a werewolf story. I have not read the first book in the series, but as I said, book two stands on its own without feeling like something is missing in the book you don't understand. I do plan on reading the first book to see how Slade and Cricket found their HEA. If this is your genre, then I would recommend it for your bookshelf. I would like to thank the author for gifting me with "Chernobyl Werewolf" and asking for my honest opinion. This is mine. 4.5 Stars!

Rachel Becker, M.D. has done a lot, been through a lot and now stuff is really getting interesting. Recovering from the ebola virus at her dads, she answers a knock at the door to find a big, tall hunk of man candy standing there. Lev Volkov, a Russian with some secrets, takes one whiff of the good doctor and knows she is the one. He also knows she is off limits. Of course his wolf doesn't care.

I love how the story continues each of the previous stories in this series. We still get to see our favorite characters and experience a whole new story at the same time. Lev isn't just a werewolf, he is a super charged wolf from the Chernobyl region of Russia where the nuclear plant melted down. When Rachel is kidnapped, Lev knows he has to find her. He will do what it takes to save her even if she can never be his.

Eve Gordon has taken what could have been a ho hum "alpha male wolf meets his destined mate and saves her', and turns it into a highly charged adrenaline packed, full of heat , and mystery cracking love story !! Neither is exactly what they seem to be, yet both are exactlywhat the other needs despite all the rules and often archaic laws. If you love. PNR, then this book is definitly for you. I do not recommend this book for anyone under the age of 18, due to language and sexual content. I recieved a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review. 4⭐️'s.

Absolutely an amazing story from beginning to end! Rachel and Lev stand no chance of being together due to his promise to her father, and the rules of the council. So much happens to both of them, that throws them together, it is difficult to keep from bonding. This story is both exciting, and another new take on werewolves.  Very well written and spellbinding! I highly recommend reading this book!
