Well I am new to this but I sure am going to give it a shot now off to find the books. Good luck to all with this challenge and enjoy!
I'm just finishing up my september books. My last three are bound into a single huge compilation thats around 1200 pages. Since its nearing the end I have given myself a minimum amount of pages to read a night to finish by september 30th, which got me thinking. So I added up (roughly) all the books I have for october and it came to just over 3100 pages, broken down its 100 pages a day.
Mini goals, make the huge stack not seem quite as daunting. =D

At the start of the month I add up the number of pages in each book and divide by the number of days in the month. That way I know the minimum number of pages I have to do each day to finish the challenge.
OCD or what!!!
I may have to switch mine up again as my Amazon order finally shipped and should be here in a couple of days and I want to add Storm Born to my list. Oh and One Foot in the Grave for sure.

Julieann--I too can read 2 or 3 a day, depending on what else is going on. I conservatively figure that I read a minimum of 450 books a year. Some, of course are re-reads, I mean, hey, its hard to find NEW books when you read that many, ya know? Figure that over the course of my "reading" life--ok, we'll figure 13 years old, since I don't want to count the "little kid" books--that's 41 years. That adds up to a LOT of books. Even when I was in school, I'd read a minimum of 1 a day--and that was in addition to any school work (thank God I only need 5 hours of sleep a night, right?) Doing the math (and taking my book counts down to 350) I have read 14,350 books in my life. Some books I KNOW I have re-read, because I do them regularily. The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, Have Space Suit-Will Travel, Moon of Three Rings, Witch World 1 and of course, ALL my Agatha Christies. Also the Tarzan and John Carter of Mars books, as well as the Sherlock Holmes books. Those people could tell a tale that STAYS interesting, even on re-reading it for the 30th or so time. :o)

Im glad im not the only one who spends a lot of time reading my husband thinks im a book nut and so does my son {he reads pretty well and often too, happy i got him in to it early he dos better in school then most kids his age) i think maybe i should join a AA club for books lol :X

Lori,
LOL...as long as your books meet the challenge requirement, like this month (the colors), you are counted in.
As for whether the books are officially PNR or not, that's just extra. I don't really quibble about that part.

Amanda, I see you skipped BDB #3, Lover Awakened. That's a shame cause, to me, that's the best book in the series till now. Josie switched to a pink edition of that book
, maybe you could use that for your list?

Its ok if it doesn't :)
I think it qualifies as brown. The boys on the cover wear brown and the rest is black with orange (which to me equals brown).

I actually bought Lucinda Dangerously already in Borders. If you google borders coupons you can get one for $2 off on any Romance book. This are going to be the first books I read from her, but they look very interesting.
