How's everyone doing? I'm getting geared up for Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon tomorrow. We're supposed to be rainy and gross, which makes for excellent reading weather.

Thing is, the book has to be rated 4.5 or higher to qualify for the challenge
I messaged Emeli about her book for task #2. It might be a good idea for everyone to check your TBR for another book with a 4.5 score or higher. If she decides to use her pass one of us will need to read a fourth book before we can move on to the next task.

Yeah, I definitely didn't think it would be that hard. I've got over 17,500 books on GR (read and unread) and when I sorted them by rating, there were only 200 that were rated over 4.5. There were quite a few between 4.25 and 4.4, though.
I'm just going to post my book and edit the finish date when I read it tonight. It's too difficult to do everything through my phone and no wi-fi.

Yay - here is your next task:69. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.
Professions such as Law Enforcement Officer or musician are fine. Just don't try to use a rancher and a chef as food industry - just not close enough to work! Remember to use the Kindle edition page count!
Chef would be my first choice, but it should be easy to find someone in law enforcement, too.
I can do teachers, chefs, producer, author, singer/musician, photographer, law enforcement, assassin, healthcare,construction, mercenary, beautician, stripper, Mage, Craftsman, athlete, scientist, office worker, security, it, military.

I noticed in the Q&A thread that another team was given a task for each member to name 5 favorite books, and then everyone has to pick 2 and read them. So we might want to be thinking about which books we'd list as our 5 favorites.

By the way, does anyone know if there's a minimum page count for the books we read? Does it have to be a full length novel, or can we read a novella or shorter?
