I really enjoyed this easy to read book.
Ellery thinks his relationship with Jack is about to start but after a date he is left wondering what went wrong.
In the meantime an old boyfriend buys a house on the island and then winds up daed and guess who is #1 suspect.

A great second book in the series with a cast of well rounded secondary characters.

4 stars. Had high hopes for this after reading a bit of hype, but I think they were too high and the poor story couldn't live up to them... I just didn't quite connect to MC Cooper; MC Park was very appealing though.
Will definitely read the next book, to give the series a fair chance.

I do like these books but I am finding the asides a little too much now and repetitive and frankly sometimes not funny.
As usual Noah and Nicky are embroiled in a murder or this case several murders and they look to solve them. And its handy this time as they are starring in Sherlock Holmes as Sherlock and Watson.

The animal, and therefore tags, selected needs to be somewhat specific - dog, (domestic) cat, horse, bird, tiger, not more generic like pet, canine or feline. Please provide the number of tags and page number on the list of shelves or a link for your tag - or both. 😊 I will be super picky about combo tags - if you select 'dog' and your tag is 'dogs/cats' but the book's precis and cover both indicate cat - you book will not qualify!
