Hometown - does this need to be where you were from originally or can it be where you live now?? So long it is one or the other.

And for my hometown, there are few books written in my town, and maybe 10 in my state (that I am aware) -could we use Country?

For hometown, it can be whatever you consider your hometown - where you were born or grew up or where you currently live. And for inside the US you can use state, for outside the US you can use country. Of course it is easy to just use the city if one of you is from there too.

It's per team, every task is per team. So whatever amount of books it is, as long as everyone in team reads at least one or use pass then anyone can read the extras.

Charlie Cochet works, Darkest Hour Before Dawn is too far apart. One word only between - there was a list of words you used once, but I'll just leave it at one word. No to series.
