Q: Can teammates read the same book for a task?
A: There are a couple of tasks where the team needs to read different books, but if it doesn't specifically say that you are free to read the same book.
A question before we start.... can the same book be used by another team member if it fits another task?I only ask as im in a few buddy reads with a few in my group, so we may read the same book a few times?

Yes, I will likely add requirements - how many books etc. But yes, you will be able to narrow the selection down.

Details on this one will be included if assigned, but 'Friends to Lovers' will almost certainly be acceptable.

Yes, I will make a date exception for this, for everyone but especially your team, since you add so many books to the shelf!

As a team, you select another team and you all read from their books.

Again, as a team you will select the home town of one of your teammates and read a book set in that locale. What defines a 'home town' will be defined if announced.

I've noticed a couple of questions come up, so I am just going to clarify/answer them here.First, I changed to the wording of a sentence - Each teammate will need to participate in each task, but may take a pass for one task during the course of the challenge. So, no you don't each need to read 1000 pages or whatever, but you do need to contribute to the team's progress unless you take a pass and you can only do that for one task throughout the challenge. I have updated the opening post and each team's thread to reflect that change.
As for passes, I don't care when you use them or if more than one person on a team uses them on the same task. Except for tasks that no passes are allowed. BUT, remember the task still needs to be completed and if more than one of uses it at the same time - it leaves your remaining teammates picking up the slack to finish the task. Also, not all teammates can use a pass for the same task - otherwise the task would never be completed and you would just be stuck. So, I STRONGLY recommend that only one person uses a pass on any given task and that you are judicious when you choose to use it, you might just wish you saved it for a later task!

" is that six books each, or six books total?If it's total, as a group, I suppose that means that each team member reads at least one and then some team members read two? Since "Each teammate will need to participate in each task"? So then when the task calls for 4 books, it would just be a book each?
Some of the tasks say "Each player reads a book that's yadda yadda yadda" and that wouldn't be any different from the tasks that say "Read 4 books which are yadda yadda yadda." Those two cases would be the same, where each of our four members would have to read one book. But they're phrased differently enough that it makes me think they must be different?

Correct, on some tasks at least one teammate will need to read more than one book. If the task is 'read 4 books', that would be one each unless someone passes.

Most, if not all - can't recall off the top of my head, of the 'each player reads' tasks are tasks that the pass is not allowed. That would be the primary difference between those and the 'read 4 books' tasks.

Correct, it just has to match one of the teammate's screen name, it would be clarified to include that you can't use your own name though that isn't spelled out specifically there.

that is okay, I fully understand that time has no meaning we are on the 4 week of lock down and this week is a vacation week. So here time also has very little meaning. I check my phone daily to figure out what day of the week we have and what date.
But since Denmark is doing very well we had a very early lock down, they are starting a slow opening next week. But things will still be very different for a long time
