I just updated message #13 with my finish this week of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany. This gives me 8 of 26 finished.

The book was really good. Norman is so much more interesting reading from his point of view

I did think the book was worth the time spent on it. I had both the Kindle and Audiobook versions, but chose to listen so I could make use of drive time and also work on my needlework at the same time. I started New Years Day and finished in 4 weeks, reading 7 other books during that time. I did find the material rather heavy times and just had to read something lighter for a while before returning to Hitler.
Overall, I thought it was a very well-researched history, and I've found Grover Gardner to be a favorite narrator for history books. I would recommend it.

Just completed my selection for "S" - The Ship of Brides by Jojo Moyes. While I appreciate the characters and the unique storyline, I felt that the story was a bit long and could have been edited down. Worth reading. 3.5 stars11/26
