@Cassandra: You're welcome! It's fine; mistakes happen. I just wanted to alert you before things got too confusing. :)
Count me in for 10,000!9,774/10,000
After reading my first five books of the year I'm at 2,029/35,000
I was going to use my books stats page to keep track of the total number of pages read and I have discovered that they are not correct. I have finished my third book yesterday and although it shows correctly on my Goodreads reading challenge, if I go to "my books", and then select "stats", the page shows 2 as the number of books read, even if it shows 3 thumbnails when I select "details"?
I have done some digging and it appears that it is a known issue on Goodreads and it needs a "refresh of my shelf count" by a site admin to fix it? see here
Has anyone else noticed this and knows how to solve it?

I finished my first book earlier this week, a total of 543 pages.
Kiwi, is the problem ongoing? rivka, one of the Goodreads moderators posted in that thread that the stats pages uses a 24-hour cache, which means it could take up to 24 hours to update. If after 24 hours, the book still isn't showing up, that might require a manual reset. I'm not really sure about that one.
Thanks Cassandra for the reply, today the book showed up (2 days after I finished it), but this morning I added another one and this recent one isn't showing yet. I will wait for 24 hours before adding any another book just to confirm whether the 24 hours delay fixes the problem.
I'd like to aim for 100,000.Thank you for hosting, Cassandra!
Nadia, 100,000 is such a high goal! What's your secret for finding time to read?

That happened to me. It took 2 days for my 2nd book to count (even though it was listed when I expanded the details for 2015). I did contact support, but they never replied and the problem was fixed (I don't know if it just took 2 days or if they fixed it for me).
Cassandra, I'm homeschooled, so I have a little bit more free time, I can read very quickly (if need be), and I count books that I read for history (old classics such as Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Agamemnon, Medea, etc.) in the final count. I'm not even sure if I CAN meet my goal, but I can certainly try. :)
I've read 5 books so far this year for a total of 1,431 pages out of 100,000.

Just like the I spy challenge I will probably pop in here weekly to keep track of my progress.... So far I have completed 521 pages of my 15,000 goal. 292 pages in Fate and Fury
and I am 229 pages into City of Heavenly Fire. I was hoping to finish heavenly fire this week but our trailer containing our home arrived finally so I have been unpacking and unloading most of the week... Looking forward to some relax with a book time this weekend!

This book was unique in writing style. Old fables usually passed down verbally, and this is evident in the writing style, had me wishing I had acquired an audiobook version. My recommendation if you don't like it at the start, don't keep Reading it, however if the mythology and old prose appeals to you this is a must read.

Claire is a lovely name! If you find there are too many members with your name, just edit your profile and embellish your first name. Another group required unique names, and that's how I ended up with mine.
