I started listening to Lie by Moonlight on audio, and I am loving it. It is such a pleasant read. The narrator is excellent and has just the right voice to immerse me in the setting. I like the characters, Concordia and Ambrose. They have good chemistry so far. And it's a Victorian.

Finished Lie by Moonlight and it was very good!

I've finally read or listened to Crocodile on the Sandbank. While it's more of a historical mystery, the romance was very satisfying and the heroine was so likable in all her prickliness. A very good match between her and the equally prickly and dare I say grumpy Emerson! I recommend it Victorian fans.

I also started The Cater Street Hangman.

I started Crystal Gardens on audio, and I am enjoying it a lot. I think Amanda Quick's Victorian romances lend themselves very well to audiobooks.

Linds The only Amanda Quick book I read was Ravished, are you enjoying this one?

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) | 739 comments Mod
Yes, I am. The characters are interesting and the storyline is good. A lot about psychic energy.

I have quite a pile of her books, but haven't gotten around to them. Glad I started doing audiobooks.

Linds I love audio books! I probably get half my reading from the car now, I use inner library loan to get anything I want, it's great. I think the voice actor J.R. Ward hires is very good.

I haven't done any JR Wards yet, but I heard the same. Yes, I am hooked on audiobooks now!

Linds I'm reading A Rogue by any Other Name by Sarah MacLean, I'm about thirty pages in.

Looking forward to reading that. I need to get through her first series first though!

Linds I think this one (A Rogue by Any Other Name) is her best one since '9 Rules...' I'm only 100 pages in but I'm loving it so far!

Cool. Maybe I will skip ahead to it!

Lord Haversham Takes Command is a good Victorian I read recently. It has a Scarlet Pimpernel feel and is very much a comedy of errors. I found it very enjoyable.

Just finished The Scandalous Adventures of the Sister of the Bride by Victoria Alexander, and it definitely has a good Victorian vibe.

I didn't get to post this sooner, since I've been pretty busy, but I read How to School Your Scoundrel, and I loved it. It's set in the 1800s and the hero really is a bad man. I am definitely going to read more of this author.
