We used to have a shop near us that I liked a lot, but there aren't any close enough to me now to make it worth a trip. Amazon is just so easy.

Hi Claudia, I always go to thrift stores. Most thrift stores I've been to have a large selection of books. It's also very cheap for if you don't have a big budget :)

Kristie, one thing I miss about the book shops is being surrounded by walls of books that's waiting to take you on so many different journeys. And you're turning in circles trying to pick. Oh, those were the days.

I'm the same. After I had an issue with some criminal getting my credit card info from my Amazon account somehow and buying stuff I closed out my Amazon account and will not shop with Amazon anymore. Luckily, I was able to cancel my card and get the charges credited back to my account. I don't think Amazon has enough security in place considering how big it is...

I haven’t been on in a while, Tammy, but I believe they charge shipping if you spend under a certain amount. If I recall correctly, you needed to spend somewhere around $25 to get free shipping. So, it’s a better deal if you buy a few books at once.
