If you enjoyed the first book in the series, check this one out. Here’s my four star review:

It wasn't bad but i though it was gonna be way better after all i heard about this book.

In this 6th book in the 'Monkeewrench' series, Grace MacBride and her colleagues are in a race against time to stop terrorist attacks. The book can be read as a standalone though familiarity with the characters is a plus.
OK thriller. 3 stars

I enjoyed it, 3.5 stars rounded up. My review. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Frank Corso #3, OK to read as stand-alone. Frank and Meg track a female serial killer. A real page-turner altho I felt the Meg character was under-used and the finale rested on a coincidence, and I hate it when the author relies on a coincidence. 3 stars.

In this 5th book in the 'Detective Galileo' series, the Japanese police look into the death of a rich businessman. The book can be read as a standalone.
Clever puzzle mystery. 3 stars

It is a free story if you follow the author, through his website.

I've finished reading Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties, by Tom O'Neill. The author sets out to debunk Bugliosi's "Helter Skelter" race war motive behind the 1969 killings, and ends up places I wouldn't have thought possible. :) It's also about his experiences as he does his research and tries to put it all together.
About to begin An American Tragedy by Theodore Dreiser, and still working on Conrad's Nostromo, which I am enjoying very much.
After this, it's easy summer fare. I am so ready to not think for a while. At least not too much.

This looks interesting. 🙂

When he stays on topic it's a pretty good book with all kinds of new information that was either left out intentionally by the prosecution or by the various police agencies. He sort of digresses in a couple of chapters towards the end until he reins himself back in again.

In this 11th book in the 'Lincoln Rhyme' series, the quadriplegic forensic scientist is after a sadistic serial killer who kills with poison tattoos. The book can be read as a standalone.
Very good mystery/thriller. 4 stars

Finished Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West by Cormac McCarthy. First time rating a book without finishing it. I know it is considered a modern classic but I found it awful. Childishly violent without any depth. Rating - 1/5

Sorry you didn't care for that one, Aditya. I loved it. I thought it had a great deal of depth as well as purpose. Violent, yes, but then again, consider the time period.

I saw your rating in friend's rating section, unfortunately did not work for me at all.

This book contains 16 true tales about gruesome and unusual murders. Just the ticket for true crime fans. 3.5 stars

Charlotte and Thomas Pitt #3, OK to read as stand-alone. Pitt and his wife investigate rape and murder among the residents of a high-class street in Victorian London. I felt the characters were not well differentiated from each other and that the book just went along a bit slowly. Not my cup of tea, 2 stars.

My 4 star review.
