Evie Dunmore is the USA TODAY Bestselling author of Bringing Down the Duke. She wrote The League of Extraordinary Women inspired by the magical scenery of Oxford and her passion for romance, women pioneers, and all things Victorian. In her civilian life, she is a strategy consultant with a M.Sc. in Diplomacy from Oxford. Scotland and the great outdoors have a special place in her heart, so she is frequently found climbing the Highlands and hunting for woolly tartan blankets.

Evie is a member of the British Romantic Novelists' Association (RNA).

Hi Linda,

Thanks for getting in touch! Three books have been contracted for the series, and Hattie is going to be the heroine of Book III. I would love to give Catriona her HEA, too, so we will see.

UPDATE: Catriona's book has been confirmed - it is currently scheduled for 2022!

Best,

Evie(less)
Evie Dunmore Thanks Rena, I have been informed ARCs for ROGUE will be available on Netgalley from May 4th - good luck!

If Hemingway wrote a YA novel, I think it would sound a lot like Normal People, but obviously Rooney makes her own magic. She takes no detours, she cuts right to the bone.
More of Evie's books…
“Perhaps you can explain it to me, then,” she said, “how is it fair that my utterly inept cousin is in command of me, for no reason other than that he’s a man and I’m a woman? How is it fair that I master Latin and Greek as well as any man at Oxford, yet I am taught over a baker’s shop? How is it fair that a man can tell me my brain was wired wrong, when his main achievement in life seems to be his birth into a life of privilege? And why do I have to beg a man to please make it his interest that I, too, may vote on the laws that govern my life every day?”
Evie Dunmore, Bringing Down the Duke

“Darling," he said, "I have only begun to love you.”
Evie Dunmore, Bringing Down the Duke

“Perhaps this is not a question of staying out of trouble, Your Grace. Perhaps this is about deciding on which side of history you want to be.”

“Not all those who wander are lost.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

“It is easier to live through someone else than to complete yourself. The freedom to lead and plan your own life is frightening if you have never faced it before. It is frightening when a woman finally realizes that there is no answer to the question 'who am I' except the voice inside herself.”
Betty Friedan
