Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 138 comments Are you talking about the Dixon trilogy? or the Triangle?...I am thinking you are referring to the former one.

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 138 comments There are no reviews posted on Goodreads or Amazon of the Dixon book...as of yet.

Claudine DiMuzio / Just Jane 1813 | 197 comments The Dixon "Have His Cake" series. I really enjoyed them but the end left me a bit muddled...

Are you sure? I want to order the paperback based on her previous books but am afraid!"

Yes. I am sure. You will love the journey to the HEA and still love the Colonel.

Deborah | 55 comments I just finished As Good as a Lord: Pride and Prejudice by P O Dixon. It was low angst and enjoyable.

message 707: by Talia (new)

Talia (kneyda) | 243 comments I finished The Unthinkable Triangle: A Pride and Prejudice Variation today. As predicted by everyone here, I loved it. I only hope that Col Fitz realizes later that he did not love E as much as he thought. I am assuming we are supposed to gather that from the ending but I wish it was written specifically. I love him so much. I hate to think of him hurting. So, he isn't real! I love him still!

Sophia (sophiarose) | 757 comments Mod
@ Debbie- I didn't know about that one. I'll have to check it out.

@Talia- Yay, glad it ended up being good and Col Fitz was handled well if not fully explained in the end.

@Talia- Haha! Yes, a puppy will definitely bite into the reading time. But how fun, too!

I thought the story was good, but, I thought the situation Elizabeth was in near the end of the story ended too conveniently and left me dissatisfied.

Well, no wonder, you're waxing sailor eloquence! Fair winds indeed, Kirk.

Nice pile of books you read this month. Love seeing so many folks re-reading the originals over the last few months.

I'm looking forward to that 200th Ann Ed of Emma and the Sophie Croft story is definitely going on my list of reads.

Still some time left in the month for another good book. ;)

message 716: by Talia (new)

Talia (kneyda) | 243 comments I read The Companion of His Future Life today. I love this author and this book did not disappoint. Terrific read.

That's good to know, Talia. I've read a couple of Jack Caldwell's books and loved them. I'll have to add this one to the list.

message 719: by Sheila (new)

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 138 comments I have read several by Jack. I have not started his newest, the trilogy set in Louisiana. I do recommend his stories and you can check out my reviews.

Talia (kneyda) | 243 comments Sheila wrote: "I have read several by Jack. I have not started his newest, the trilogy set in Louisiana. I do recommend his stories and you can check out my reviews."

I read the first one of the trilogy and passed on the next two. I seem to prefer the more traditional timeline to P & P when it comes to Jack as I was not a big Pemberley Ranch fan. But that again, is a personal preference and nothing bad about the author. I want my Darcy British and in breeches whenever possible. ;)

Deborah | 55 comments I just finished listening to Emma Tennant's Pemberley. Avoid it if you can. It is so unfaithful to the characters. anyway....I gave it a 1*. I rarely award any book less than 3*s.

For some reason, a lot of people agree with Emma about Jane Fairfax so she's not as well liked. I actually like her as much as Emma to be honest. ;)

A Jane Fairfax day actually sounds fun to me. I love when the minor characters get their day in the sun.

They choose abominably the books to translate, actually!
And now they are not translating Carrie Bebris and Stephanie Barron anymore! :(

And that's awful, Georgiana! No more Carrie Bebris and Stephanie Barron? Ugh!

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 138 comments I am reading Longbourn's Songbird and it is better than 5 stars. Such depth, heartbreak and imperfect human beings talking at last about their feelings. A MUST read! But I am not done yet.

Longbourn's Songbird

@Debbie- I loved Yours Forevermore, Darcy, too.

@Sheila- I can't wait to read that one. Yay for depth, heartbreak, and flaws.

Georgiana 1792 | 95 comments Congratulations, Sophia! I wish I could read more Austenesque Books!
I was just enjoying my Pride and Prejudice, when they sent me two urgent books to review! And none of them is Austen related! :(

message 742: by Sophia (new)

Sophia (sophiarose) | 757 comments Mod
Thanks, Georgiana!

I understand the frustration of that one. I have a hard time reading my review books when there is another one 'calling' to me. :) I still want to re-read Emma for the big December anniversary.

Sheila Majczan (sheilalmajczan) | 138 comments Wow, you certainly enjoyed this month's reads. All 5 stars! I have read some of these and made a note of those I did not read as recommendations for the future.

Amazing list of reads, Erika!

Glad to see all those five stars.

message 746: by Talia (new)

Talia (kneyda) | 243 comments This morning I was lucky enough to finish The Longbourn Will: A Pride and Prejudice variation. I loved it. I would have given it 5 stars if the author gave us more of a certain storyline that was left hanging. My only complaint!

message 747: by Sophia (new)

Sophia (sophiarose) | 757 comments Mod
All the way to the end only to be left hanging. Not fun. At least the rest was good, right Talia!

message 750: by Deborah (new)

Deborah | 55 comments I just finished book #56. Jennifer Joy's Darcy's Ultimaum. Very good. Darcy's dad is still alive and says he has to marry before the end of the season. Lizzy does too, or she will have to marry Collins. Love how it comes about. So very, very sweet.
