I'm so tired of her. I actually did like her once upon a time, and even wanted her with Ryodan. But that was before Dani and Ryodan were introduced together in Iced. I feel I should be more sympathetic to Jo since it's not her fault she crushes on and is possessive of the guy she's sleeping with. It's Ryodan the manipulating prick's fault for using her against Dani and feeding Jo crap. If he does care about Jo in that way I want him to leave Dani alone. Dani's a one guy gal and doesn't need his shit. If I decrease my dislike for Jo my contempt for Ryodan increases.
I do feel bad that she is caught up and doesn't realize she is now a pawn. However, I would have felt better about her had she been there for just one time. This repeated affair doesn't sit well with me so she gots to go!

It is almost like she is leaning into him. He doesn't fully embrace her or wrap his arounds her. I think he was starting to see that his relationship with Jo rubbed Dani wrong so he was using that to spark some emotions. Damn devil!

But in this case it was like he actually cared about Jo. I reread it several times too. I just want their fling to be over with but I know that's not going to happen anytime soon so I'm just going to skim the pages with her and him in it when I finally get my hands on Burned. Can't believe the wait is almost over I could faint from excitement!!!!
XD !!! It's like I preordered this book eons ago, and yet like I did it just yesterday. The wait is not so terrible now. Been rereading and am stoked in Fever crazies!
Hey I read a brief review that said Burned is a surprisingly emotional book, and past sins and betrayals come back to haunt Mac, Barrons and their band of fierce warriors?And do you think Lor will come clean with Barrons and Ryodan and tell them that the Unseelie fae compulsion and glamour works on them? And his first hand experience with it, or do you think he has too much pride and try to keep it to himself?
I think they will find out by his behavior or something. I wonder who will help Lor out of his entrapment.
If it's an unseelie princess Mac is talking to in one of the snippets, I'd say her. It seems like she's the most likely person one of their kind would listen to, considering their magic works on the nine, any of them being in contact with a princess will be dangerous (vulnerable if that word can be used with regards to them).Then again no one might notice for awhile if Lor is busy having sex for weeks on end. I don't know whether that excerpt was before or after the scene in Ryodan's office, I remember though he mentioned wanting the woman to be pri-ya for him? I wonder if Lor's pri-ya now, a fae sex addict. lol

I read that teaser for the first time today and the UP told Lor that she was different that the other Unseelie, that the princesses were the UK's final Unseelie and all together different so maybe that's why her glamour worked on Lor. Makes you wonder how long the 4 UP's have been in Dublin and who the other one or two are...
Yea and if their the Unseelie princes girl friends, the female version is definitely more talkative then they were.

I thought maybe it could be Dani, but then Mac mentions she's surrounded by a hundred unseelie, and I know Barrons mentioned she had her own private army following her around, but when Dani noticed them trailing Mac in Chester's I don't think there was no where near that many so I'm thinking maybe in the snippet where he tells her not to follow, all the unseelie there aren't hers.
I believe they are hers. There were a ton of them all around the bookstore.

Yeah, I'm also pretty sure that KMM will give us good insight and chapters revolving around Dani's aging over the years in Faery. And then head back to Mac and the other POVS for what's going on in the outside world. If she only physically aged, there would be no point in aging her? Damn, I always sort of assumed Ryodan would follow Dani into Faery, but it is possible he'll stay behind and we'll get a big reunion scene.
Haha. I'm also sure that Dani's going to grow up into a stunner. I mean the Gray woman did give her a little extra something something after all. ;)

Ok, so I came over something in Iced that I hadn't thought so much of before, and it creeps me out a bit. Did Ryodan and all his men have sex at the same place and the same time in level four? Like ha huge sex party?
I kind of don't like that so much.
And why didn't Ryodan go after Dani when she was in trouble the second time, but sent Lor? There is something off with that. the first time I remember, when Dani was hurt and Jayne took her sword, I thought maybe Ryodan couldn't stand seeing her hurt and trusted Lor to take care of that. But the second time when Dani went after her sword and she met the U.princes, Ryodan again sent Lor. I'm wondering that maybe none of the interactions between them has been interpreted right by me, maybe Ryodan really has some other plans for Dani than romantic. I don't think that Barrons would have sent Ryodan or Lor to help or save Mac, so why would Ryodan?
Ok lets get to part 1. I think level 4 is just a big kink fest. I don't think they were all down there boinking. I see it as more there are rooms and other stuff down there. Winnie, you are killing me. He can not have feelings for Jo. I have to stress that. You can't put that panic with me.
Haha, I'm putting it on myself as well, and trying to comfort myself by thinking maybe it wouldn't be that bad. Maybe Dani needs another type of HEA than the typical in romances. And maybe Jo will become epic in her own way as Mac became. And mayyyybe Dani will be better off with Dancer or Christian, or none of the guys. She could rule, and Ryodan could help her become the ruler with training and time- all the while he is living a happy life with Jo. I hate all of the above, except that Dani will become some kind of leader.
And something else I hate is that some people have alreday read the book, but don't have the decency to write a good review that mentions Dani/Ryodan/Jo.
LOL Winnie I went down that road a few pg back!! Cookie and Samantha saved me from my own darkness!! Jo is just a Ho she is nothing but a quick F!! In the beginning of Iced when Jo is in the dungeon with Dani and Ryodan he tells Jo, that she will be serving Fae his men and maybe even him!! I think the contract compels the girls to do what ever the men want in Chester's !! The rubber band that they feel tucking in there stomachs is a spell. Dani did say theres a spell in the border!! I don't say that it allows the girls no free will but it does help in a way?? Dani feels it too but her will is stronger then the compulsion. I still believe having sex with the nine does something too the woman!! This is a theory that I can not wait to be proven right!!!
