Glad I'm not the only one feeling that way"
I know right. I just want to get to the tidbits about Dani. Especially when Mac started rambling about Georgia, her dad, and them magnolia's she feels the need to reiterate and describe every book. I'll really miss Dani being primary POV. That girl was way more straightforward, and cut unnecessary shit out. And Mac, is acting totally crazy! What the hell? Does she own Dani? How dare she think she can tattoo her? When Mac herself went all ape shit when Barrons tattooed her. I'm glad Dani ran away lol. I would too.
Yeah and I agree Mac thinks she's infallible. Everyone talks about how Dani think's she's unstoppable, but to a certain extent she really is. And her inflamed ego can be blamed on her teenager angst. I find Mac super fecking irritating with her constant stream of superiority BS. It reminds me of when Dani killed the US prince, and Mac got all angry that she didn't get to kill the prince. Like no offense to Mac fans, but she's pretty weak. I don't think she could have, even if she got the chance. The only thing Mac has going for her are the random Deus ex machina's popping up everywhere to save her ass at the last minute.
LOL. I didn't even realise how much I dislike Mac until now. Rant over.

Yeah, I mean Mac gets all the solutions to problems handed to her. Ughh... and then she acts all condescendingly concerned about Dani. But, Dani can actually take care of herself, she's self sufficient. Mac on the other hand...

I knnow right, I feel as though I'm going to skim read most of Mac's POV. Just so I can get to the good stuff *cough Dani's POV cough* quicker.

I'd say that the fact that she's weak isn't what irritates me. It's that Mac has this super high opinion of herself and how strong she is. When in reality... And also that she doesn't take responsibility for anything. It's always other people's fault. If anything happens. Like when she killed Barrons with her own hands and then tried to shove the blame of Barrons death onto Ryodan. Like what the hell? She was all 'omg he tricked me!' 'It's all Ryodan's fault.'
Holy bullshitting bullshitters. Mac, needs to stop expecting everyone to cater to her wishes. I actually liked Mac for the first three books, she knew her own limits and didn't shove needless blame onto everyone. I feel like her character has regressed in terms of maturity.

"You’re a brilliant strategist: Machiavelli, Napoleon, Charlemagne and Sun T’zu all rol..."
Interesting! Especially the part about not letting his feelings decide for him. What plans does he really have for Dani? It can't be romantic plans, though I hope that part happens anyway.
I wonder why Dani went into Faery to hide from the nine. Has she done something really bad?
And Mac made a promise not to kill the Gray Woman, byt she has. Whyyy?
Is there any point for Ryodan to go after Dani in Faery? I thought that place was endless.
I am also glad Mac cares about finding Dani. Jo is probably happy Dani is gone.
What about Cruce?
Too many questions in my head.

It's the way it came across about the tattoo thing. I didn't get worried. It might be because we were reading a darker scene. So to me it came off like you better have her tattoo when she comes out. I don't know.

"You’re a brilliant strategist: Machiavelli, Napoleon, Charlemagne and S..."
Winnie, my head was spinning. There has to be a way for Ryodan to go in faery if Dani got in there. Jo won't be happy because he won't be there. He got to find Dani. Lol.
so I am excited to see how crazy he gets looking for her.

"You’re a brilliant strategist: Machiavelli, Napoleon, Ch..."
Lol. Imagine Jo waiting dutifully for five years in the outside world for Ryodan her beloved, who's looking to find Dani. And then when he returns with 19 year old Dani, totally disregarding Jo. Muhahaha. Oh the angsty possibilities have just multiplied. So do you guys think that's how Dani ages? Five years spent in the wild worlds of Faery would definitely make her more worldly.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure when she woke up in the dungeon and the back of her skull felt sore, it was actually an indicator of her being tattooed.

I hope she won't. I actually wanted to see Dani growing up and see her teen years.
Do you think we'll maybe get like a montage of her from 14-16 or something. And then she'll get stuck in Faery?
In the teaser they said she's been missing for 3 weeks. When christian went AWOL in faery he was gone for a month right? And he aged 3 years? so Dani must have aged atleast 2 a bit years in faery.

Oh yeah. She has something. The back of her head was hurting.

It's likely no. 6. I feel as though the whole 'one day u'll get dancer killed' was foreshadowing for his 'death' in this book. It's also the only thing I think will effect her so emotionally that she'll break down. Obviously, Dancer will turn out to be immortal or something else later on though.

She is a 22 year old self-centered girl that still lived at home with her parents and had to ask them permission to do things. Everything that happens to her in the first 5 books takes place over a 6 month period, of which she lost 1 in faery and 2-3 being pri-ya. While Mac changes pretty drastically in what only feels like three months to her, of course vestiges of who she was before still linger. People don't/can't make a complete change that quickly.
As for her blaming things on everyone else when something goes wrong, that is also pretty true for her background and generation. I also blame that on her often being in denial.
I like when Mac talks about her daddy... some of the things she quotes from him are my favorite passages of the books. But, I'm completely with you on Mac's constant droning on about the waxy magnolia lined streets of Georgia, blah, blah, blah! LOL. I also get tired of the phrase "mercenary to the core" and her description of Barrons having one foot in the swamp, blah, blah, blah. It is so unnecessarily repetitive.

I hope she won't. I actually wanted to see Dani growing up and see her teen years.
Do you think we'll maybe get like a mont..."
I think something like that. Some time out. E time in.

Gasp. Cliffhanger? LOL. NO WAY. That's so NOT KMM's style... ;)

I'd say it'd be in the first half of the book, definitely.

Maybe Dani goes into faerie to track Christian down? Would the Hag go to faerie to find more immortal guts? I will be super angry if we skip all of Dani's growing years. If Ryo follows her to faerie I hope they are there together and that there is a lot of interaction.

I also think Ryodan's attachment to Dani is kind of funny, and Lor calling that unseelie master and being owned. Especially after all the crap they gave Mac about Barrons and the more he wants her the more likely they'll kill her, and she's safer away from him. When both the women (girls) in their lives either know more about them species wise than Mac, or can easily find out because they're not stupid if they take an interest, and the more Ryodan tries to connect and get close to Dani in any capacity the more she's going to want to know about him.
