Looking forward to reading Debbie Macomber's "It's Better this Way." I love her books and I'm getting ready to get lost in the story. Good way to end my birthday!

I loved The ladies of the secret circus by Constance Sayers and now I am mid way through Wild women and the blues by Denny Bryce
She Doesn't Want the Worms! Ella no quiere los gusanos: A Mystery is a delightful early language book by Karl Beckstrand and talented illustrator David Hollenbach. Kids will laugh and learn Spanish (and so did I) in this cute book.
4.5~5★ Link to my Worms review with lots of illustrations
I just finished The Car Share
A nice, fun book. Here’s a link to my four star review:

Just finished Debbie Macomber's "It's Better this Way."
Debbie Macomber pens novels that are filled with engaging characters, protagonists overcoming obstacles and at the core, love, friendship and memories.

I loved Trent Dalton's first book (Boy Swallows Universe), which was largely autobiographical. There's no question he can write. All Our Shimmering Skies is good, but I was spoiled by what I know he is capable of.

I should have read this earlier!I just enjoyed Kopp Sisters on the March by Amy Stewart, number five in the series. It's April 1917, just before America enters WW1, and the sisters are off to army camp with another colourful character.
4.5★ Link to my Kopp Sisters review
I just finished Dog Days
A lovely, five star read. Here’s a link to my review:

I just received approval for The Dinner Guest.
It has been pending for a while - now I need to read it quickly since it just was published.
I have Blue Manhattan by Kyra Jacobs and The Lost Archangels: Prequel & Book 1 by Tatenda Creed to read, and currently reading Wings of Fury (Wings of Fury, #1) by Emily R. King, interesting mythology, I love it so far. :)

I know he's not little now but he will always be Little Stevie Wonder to me! Another inspiring Little People BIG DREAMS book for all families and schools!

The Vanishing Children, by a favourite author of mine, Graham Brack, is another Master Mercurius mystery set in the Netherlands in the 17th century. I'm very fond of this gentle, witty cleric whom William of Orange keeps dragging away from his comfortable university post to work for him.
4★ Link to my review of The Vanishing Children
Kristin Harmel's The Forest of Vanishing Stars. Vanishing into the night, a baby was stolen under the guise of protecting her future. Raised in the forest, Yona learned from her guardian how to survive. Branching the past and the present, refugees flocked to the forest seeking its protection. Will Yona retreat into the shadows or remain rooted to save others?

Getting ready to start Ellyn Oaksmith "Long Walk Home." I'm taking part in the author's blog tour on April 30th so stay tuned. From the summary, it reminds me of a Debbie Macomber mixed with Robyn Carr storyline so it suggests an engaging read.
Aussie B Michael Radburn is a reliable, go-to author for thrilling mysteries. The Reach is the third featuring Park Ranger Taylor Bridges in a beautiful (though terrifying!) bush setting.
4.5★ Link to my review of The Reach

I enjoyed the book! It's a different type of read than her other novels but the second half is action-packed!

My slower non-fiction read is The Workhouse: The People, the Places, the Life Behind DoorsAnd I just started reading We Are Satellites late last night, though it is not the cover I have pictured here it is a red cover on Netgalley and due out 13th May. I have only read a little of it but am already intrigued by the technology of the "Pilot" that everyone in this books futuristic world seems to covet.
I just finished The Cape Doctor
and recommend it to fans of historical fiction. Here’s a link to my review:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I was pleased to see Mary Anning added to the Little People BIG DREAMS series by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara. All kids love collecting things, so they'd enjoy seeing how this little girl grew up finding fossils and becoming famous.
