Anything For You by Saul BlackI’m a couple months late, and borrowed it from the library so that I could read the finished and published version
Reviewed another of the ones I finished in November and was behind on reviewing. One Christmas Eve (Cedar Street, #2) by Shannon Stacey
My review - 5 Stars

This was a very entertaining read about a crumbling aristocratic family
House of Trelawney by Hannah Mary Rothschildreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I just finished An Everyday Hero
If you like clean romance with some spunky characters, you will like this second in a series book by Ms. Trentham (can be read stand-alone).
I picked the perfect children's picture book to enjoy during the Australian Open, Evonne Goolagong by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara. My review has illustrations and a couple of photos. She is such an Aussie icon!

My favourite of the Amazon Original Stories "Inheritance" collection is Can You Feel This? by Julie Orringer. Young couple, wife in labour, race to hospital - but it's more than that, both before and after, and beautifully done.

Just finished Someone We Know By Shari Lapena My Review here (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...)No new book to read have to get on the Dashboard and get some.
Dervla McTiernan's third novel in her Cormac O'Reilly series
The Good Turn is excellent!my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Am starting
Her Secret Past by Kerry Watts after finishing the fourth in a good solid series
All The Rage by Cara Hunter. My spoiler free review can be found at my webpage https://sandysbookaday.wordpress.com/... and https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I had ONE book left on my shelf on NetGalley for a book coming out in May when suddenly yesterday I get an email telling me I was approved for the book Salt the Snow
by Carrie Callaghan which is being released on February 4! I don't recall asking for it, but if I did, I must have forgotten to put it on my excel sheet. (Mind you, I'm 30% into it and it is VERY good so far. Better than the one I'm putting aside for now.)(I quickly put aside the book from Edelweiss that I was reading that isn't due out until February 25.)
I've just started and am enjoying
, Dovetail. An author that I've heard about and never read, I think it's a great story so far :)

Funny you should say that, Vivienne - I just read the one about your colourful namesake, Vivienne Westwood by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara. What a crazy lady and a wonderful role model for kids to stick up for themselves.

If you feel like a break from heavy plot lines and serious subjects,
An Irish Country Family by Patrick Taylor is the perfect read. Number 14 in this cosy series about a small Irish village in Northern Ireland in the 1960s and it's young doctor, Barry Laverty, but could easily be read as a stand alone.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
"Strangers" by C. L. Taylor. I just started it (15% in), new author for me and I'm loving it! I love psychological thrillers.
I just finished
Colombiano by Australian author Rusty Young. It's a big book (over 800 pages) but totally absorbing, about a teenage boy who joins the Colombian paramilitaries to avenge his father's death by guerrillas. As you would expect there is a lot of violence which is necessary for the story. It's not a book I would have selected to read myself, so am glad the publisher offered me a copy via NG as it was well worth the read.

I do enjoy Aussie Emma Viskic's deaf detective, Caleb Zelic, his deaf community, his Aboriginal extended family, and the harrowing escapades he gets caught up in in spite of his best intentions. Darkness for Light is the third in the series.

Just finished
The Silent House by Nell Pattison, a mystery involving the death of a young child in a deaf family. Interesting premise, but the plot was slow and I didn't warm to the main character at all.my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Maybe I should have listened to the Tom Hanks audio of The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, which has had some rave reviews.
3.5★ Link to my "Dutch House" review
It's hardly the Definitive Dylan, but this book for kids, Bob Dylan, by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara is a good introduction to a unique singer-songwriter and the first musician to win the Nobel Prize for music.
4★ Link to my link review with a bit of the artwork
@Patty....I agree about the audio of Dutch House. I was underwhelmed with the book! Currently reading You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen.

Darn I wish All The Best Lies was still available, it sounds like a good one :)
I've just finished two books about two very different families (strange how you sometimes get this pairing in NG). One where a loving family face a betrayal that threatens to blow them apart:
Just an Ordinary Family by Fiona Lowereview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
And the second, a very dysfuctional family where one of three brothers ends up dead:
Our Little Cruelties by Liz Nugentreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My current non fiction read that I just read a chapter or so of is a Netgalley book
. The one I finished prior to this one was
(also Netgalley)
I'm currently reading
, The Split by Bolton. I've read a few of her books before and enjoyed them so I have high hopes for this one :)
I just finished Rain Will Come by Thomas Holgate.
